Great location and away from reality !

It was great!

The beds were very comfortable, the toilet/bathroom/kitchen areas clean, and the outside area fabulous. The outside temperature dropped low but the blankets kept us warm, even without the electric blankets. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The price was good and we were happy to support a local business.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We were unsure what to expect from a yurt glamping experience, and we now face a genuine problem because the bar has been set so high! The yurt was big, for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) even with a table inside. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with tea, coffee, sugar provided. The bathroom was modern, clean and plenty of space to get the kids ready for bed. In the evening, we used the communal fire pit, and managed to see a hare and barn owl up close.

The only comments we had was the door was a bit difficult to put the bolt on at night because the door was due to be replaced. The table only had 3 chairs, but one adult just sat on the end of a bed for breakfast. And… these aren’t even things really, because you’re camping at the end of the day!
