Great location, Mission Beach is beautiful and lots to do, the actual property should be updated.
The location is amazing - literally on the promenade/strand steps to the sand.
I felt that for the price the interior could’ve been better. The decor was odd - like stuff had randomly been picked up at a yard sale. Heavy granite coffee table and dark wood and granite kitchen with random beach elements thrown in. It was dated and the main bathroom door had paint peeling off. Everything needed to be updated. The kids shared a room but had to share a bed because one of the beds wqs really hard and uncomfortable and for the price I think everyone should have a great bed! The parking space allocated was tiny and very difficult to manoeuvre a smallish SUV in and out when you were hemmed in by larger cars in the other spaces.

The location was great... Right off the boardwalk. Full kitchen and laundry were very convenient.
Unit #2 was somewhat dirty and had mold in bathroom caulking. I don't think the maid service did the best job prepping the property. There were shades on the first floor windows, so it was easy to see into our room at night. It should have blinds like the units above the first floor. Ice maker in refrigerator didn't work. One of the oven burners was on when we arrived. The drain cap in the master bathroom was bent up which made a dangerous sharp point. Ceiling fans were covered in dust, and the guest bathroom toilet was slow to flush.
