Whitecaps, 26 East Street

We love crescent and hav been coming here since we were kids- it's a great spot, walking distance to anything!

Lovely views from eastern side of property overlooking the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. Storage room underneath was a bonus. Spacious and bright open living/dining/kitchen area.

Insects and ants were an ongoing issue for the duration of our stay. We feel the bathroom is in need of upgrading, if only the vanity unit. The beds were NOT comfortable at all. We changed the beds that we slept on twice and every night experienced an uncomfortable sleep and sore/aching backs the following mornings. :( The light switch in the rear eastern bedroom (one with balcony) needs urgent attention as the light flickered and was difficult to switch off. The balcony itself is in need of both the actual balcony and rails needing updating. Property in need of some TLC.

There were lots of spiders and critters all throughout the house, it felt like the outside hadn’t been cared for in a long time and the beds, lounges and chairs were all very uncomfortable. The whole place was also quite unkept.
