current consumption concluding those for airconditioning the Barony Le Pergole requests a deposit of CHf 60 (CHF 0,80/KWH) at check-in which will be accounted correctly on check-out under control of the tenant.Because every apartment/room has its own indipendentely operated airconditioning system and its own electric-counter.

GREEN OASIS near to center Lugano 2 km
The castlelike BARONY Le PERGOLE with 3 villas and total 10 maisonette-apartments (non smokers) each of them with own entrance from outside and of different sizes for 1-9 persons is situated in the most exclusive district of Lugano-Castagnola-Cortivo at foot of Monte Brè (the sunniest mountain of Switzerland) near the lake (70 m airline).
Situated peaceful and sunny away from the disturbance of communal and cantonal roads between private blind street Via Violetta and the antique Olive-foot-path to the antique fisher's village "Gandria" (1,3 km) the BARONY thrones over a 4.000 m2 terraced Mediterranean tree-garden with scare flora and panorama view on Lake Lugano and the nearby mountains.
The shared indoor pool 4 x 8 m (with charge) with 110 m2 sunbathing-terraces with deckchairs, parasols and table tennis is in function from June to end of September and can be used by people/swimmers aqged 8 years accomponied by adults.
Mattresses and covers, towels, parasols, ping-pong-utensils are deposited in the litte garden-house nearby the indoor pool as also the washer and dryer.
The indoor pool can be closed at any time due to the Corona pandemic due to official regulatiosn.
However, there is within 130 m on private street and stairs down to the lake a municipal boat- and bath-stage and a small pebble-beach for sporty people: free of charge.
To the swimming-beach "Lido San Domenico with swimming in the lak ca. 500 m: with charge.

Die Wohnung und das Anwesen mit den Gebäudeteilen und dem üppig bewachsenen Garten sind auf jeden Fall etwas besonderes - insbesondere wegen der Lage und der Sicht von den beiden Terrassen und der klassisch stilvollen Einrichtung mit einigen Antiquitäten! Das Bad ist recht neu und hochwertig und es war schön, dass die Wohnung nicht 08/15 im Ikea-Stil eingerichtet ist; die Küche ist allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Einrichtung (Geschirr/Gläser/Besteck inkl. scharfe Messer) könnte - bei der Kategorie und dem Preis der Wohnung - mal erneuert bzw. vereinheitlicht oder vervollständigt werden.
Wir haben uns gefreut, dass unser Hund willkommen war und der Eingangsbereich ab der Treppe eingezäunt war und nur von uns benutzt wurde; es gibt sogar einen schmalen Weg durch einen Teil des Gartens, den man bzw. der Hund zur Verfügung hat. Auf der Terrasse vor dem Eingang kann man gut frühstücken/essen und andere Gäste haben keinen Einblick. Auf der hinteren Terrasse vom Wohnzimmer sind ebenfalls Sitzmöbel bzw. Sonnenliegen, diese grenzt an die Terrasse der Nachbarwohnung und liegt zum Innenhof hin. Von beiden Terrassen aus sieht man den See und auf beiden Seiten hat man Sonne und Schatten. Wie auf dem Grundriss zu erkennen, ist das Schlafzimmer auch Durchgangszimmer zum Wohnzimmer (es kann mit einem Vorhang abgetrennt werden), was uns als Paar aber nicht gestört hat.
Dass wir aufgrund der Corona-Regelungen das Hallenbad nicht benutzen konnten, hat uns auch nicht gestört; im See zu schwimmen ist ohnehin schöner! Man hat unterhalb des Anwesens an einigen schönen Stellen die Möglichkeit, ins Wasser zu gehen. Ein paar Restaurants sind fußläufig, ebenso kann man von der Unterkunft aus direkt Wanderungen unternehmen, z.B. zum Monte Brè oder ins Nachbardorf Gandria; ansonsten haben wir Unternehmungen mit dem Auto gemacht.
Was wir von Ferienwohnungen nicht gewohnt waren, war, dass Bettwäsche/Handtücher und Strom separat berechnet werden. Dies wurde jedoch vor der Buchung angegeben, war also keine böse Überraschung. Für die separate Stromberechnung haben wir Verständnis, da der Stromverbrauch bei Gästen, die die Klimaanlage viel nutzen, natürlich viel höher ist. Die Wohnung heizt sich jedoch im Sommer nicht schnell auf und wir haben die Klimaanlage gar nicht genutzt.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich. Sie wohnt auch auf dem Anwesen und gibt gerne Tipps und erklärt alles. Wir wünschen ihr alle Gute und nette Gäste!
