Built in the 1930's, the Face Rock Retreat triplex is a three-level home situated in the cliffs along scenic Beach Loop Drive. In addition to stunning views of one the most spectacular and interesting beaches on the Oregon Coast, this property boasts rare private access that allows you to be on the beach in less than a minute!

Located on the third level of Face Rock Retreat, the North Loft offers a cozy, suite-type room with semi-private deck offering incredible views of the ocean and Bandon’s famous rock formations and spires. Last renovated in 2018, new furnishings create a fusion of rustic cabin and modern design elements.

North Loft amenities include queen bed, full-size leather couch, 39" flat screen TV with Spectrum Silver channels and Blu-ray player, free local and long-distance phone service, high speed Internet/Wi-Fi, microwave, coffee pot, small refrigerator/freezer, hair dryer and deck chairs.

If you are traveling as a foursome, consider reserving the South Loft right next door.

I've stayed here before and will again. Sadly, this time I had to leave a day early due to a family emergency, but I will be back. Quiet location. The sound of waves floods the room. There's a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. What else does anyone need. Great place.

This is one of those VRBO’s that its description is actually all TRUE! It’s the most gorgeous setting in Bandon! The room was charming, comfortable, cozy and humble. Perfect for days when the rain keeps you in and great for all the beautiful coastal hikes on the Oregon Coast! Sam was great at check in and helped us when we couldn’t get to the coast due to roads being flooded. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the North Loft. A couple of minor things we noticed, the “privacy partition” on the balcony is essentially non-existent. It wasn’t an issue for us because the room next door was vacant while we were there, but had someone been there I would’ve been very disappointed as it is advertised as a private balcony. Otherwise, the room is exactly as advertised and we had a lovely stay. The views are immaculate and the room itself is very cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway.

The location and view cannot be beat, but the room was just okay. Temperature control in the space was hard because there was only one wall heater, and it blew directly on the bed, which made for uncomfortable sleeping. The lock on the door was a struggle and felt less than secure. We didn't have neighbors next to us during our stay, but judging by how well we could hear the guests below us I would think that having the unit next door also occupied would have made for a less than peaceful stay.

We found the north loft to be perfect for a trip to Bandon. We were right on the most beautiful part of the beach and could observe from the deck unimpeaded if we didnt feel like using the private stairway down to the sand. The view is staggering. You can't do any better. The loft is small but efficent in its lay out. For two folk it is excellent. Put this on yourshort list!

Clean and nicely appointed. Great view and beach access. About the size of a hotel room, and just one queen bed, so great for one person, cozy for a couple, but too cozy for plutonic golfing buddies. Wi-fi is a little spotty, but if you came here to work or stare at your computer you would be in the wrong place anyway. The beach here is too beautiful to spend your time on-line.

Check in and out were easy. The room is comfortable. It's not luxurious but it has everything a traveler needs and the location is perfect. The wonky staircase to the beach is charming (and a bit frightening) and the walls, as they warn, are thin, but the close proximity of the waves drowns out most other noises. I'd stay again.

The North Loft was so cute and cozy! There were plenty of supplies available and the ease of coming and going with a code was great. Beach access was amazing! The only suggestion would be to mark the parking spots on each end along the wall in a way that provides more room for those sandwiched in…parking was a challenge. Thank you!!!! We stayed in the north loft. The cabin is devided into 3 units, 1 downstairs and 2 lofts upstairs. While smaller, the lofts are perfect for a couples looking for a romantic get away.

This place is so cute and the views can’t be beat! We had a couple of minor issues, but the manager was quick to respond and resolve them. We definitely recommend staying here and absolutely miss it already!

Toilet slowly ran nonstop. Yellow stains on sheets and comforter. Shower door doesn't close. Other than those things, we had a great time. We feel that when these issues are addressed it's quite perfect.

The condo was very nicely located just above Bandon Beach, with stairs down to the beach. The bed was a bit narrow for two but still ok. The main negative was that the wall to the neighboring condo was paper thin so we heard all their loud conversation as well as domestic arguments at 11pm and 5am in the morning. The balcony was also sort of common for the two units so mostly stayed away from it. But other than that we mostly enjoyed our stay due to the closeness to the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay! The beach and view were are favorite along the entire Oregon coast. The couch and bed were very comfortable and the bedding was deluxe. We were prepared for fewer amenities but found an ample supply of coffee, filters, plastic ware and paper products to allow us to enjoy simple meals without ever leaving the property. Of course we were out exploring the beach and all the beauty of that gorgeous strip of coastline. We’d love to come back! Thanks, Jeff and Linda

Truly enjoyed our two night stay which was the perfect length for the cozy loft. Close quaint town of Bandon offered many restaurant choices. The loft was very clean and comfortable. The balcony offered beautiful views of sea stacks and harbor seals.

If you’re looking for views and closeness to beach access, this is the place for you. Lots of stairs though. Only downfall for us was the limited kitchen. Just a microwave and small fridge. So you’re eating out a lot. I would come back here to stay again.

This property is quaint with all that you need for a 2 person stay. The view is absolutely fabulous. It rained a couple days of our stay and we sat inside in the warmth and were mesmerized by the view. The parking is not onsite which was not well explained but also not a deal breaker as the parking lot was close enough but that was our only downside. The town, the rental, and the people were all great! We would definitely go back!

We had to pay extra for our greens fees because we decided not to stay at the resort and it was completely worth it to be able to stay right on the beach. Only 10 minutes away from the clubhouse at Bandon Dunes and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the town of Bandon with some amazing beach walks. Would love to come back sometime!

This was a lovely place to stay. The only reason I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the parking situation. No parking was currently available next to property. We were an elderly couple and walking up a steep driveway to then cross the street for parking was difficult. The stairs down to the the property were fine. A sturdy hand rail was available and access was easy from there. The property was clean, bed comfortable and the view was unbeatable.
