Villa Eva with Panoramic view

Phantastische Aussicht aufs Meer zu beiden Seiten der Insel. Großzügige Terrasse mit perfekter Abschattung, bei jedem Sonnenschein nutzbar. Großartige Ausstattung in Bad und Küche. Vermieter immer erreichbar, hilfsbereit und mit guten Tipps. Alle Ziele gut erreichbar mit dem Auto. Großes Wohnzimmer, generell viel Platz im Haus. Es war einfach, sich wohlzufühlen.

Es war ein Traum - wir waren super zufrieden

位置有点远离尘世，我喜欢的。没有好被子，有点遗憾。

The house is very beautiful! When we arrived one of the managers was there waiting for us. We got the keys and a nice tour around the house. Even some snacks and a bottle of wine were waiting for us. Manos (he gave us the keys) was very helpful and kind. He introduced us the island and showed some good locations were to have dinner and some fun. If you go to Santorini you definitely have to take the Luxury boat trip around the island. It costs 120€ per person, but it is worth it. Had the best "homemade" food on that boat and lots of fun. We stayed at Villa Eva for three nights and there was a lot of room for six people. It was a pleasant stay! Greetings to Manos!

The only minus side that we had in our minds is that the house was a little bit dirty. Nothing horrible, but just had to mention it. And because neighbours had (hopefully still have) two friendly dogs it was sometimes difficult to fall asleep because they really liked to bark at night. But again, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time in Villa Eva. PS: If you go to Santorini then rent an ATV or a car, you will see much more and they don't have any sidewalks for pedestrians.

Arriving at the villa, we were pleased with the huge white building adorned with ocean blue doors and windows that stood before us. Not knowing much about Greecian architecture, other than from the pretty photos we’d seen, we all agreed that we’d done well in selecting a very aesthetic property with great views. We could see all the way down the coast line to Oia, and the sunsets were magnificent, even if hidden a little by the neighbouring household. The house was fully equipped with everything that we could have needed, and it was great in helping us save money when we realised we could stay in and cook instead of buying food out. The rooms were also spacious and clean; there were multiple spare beds even when we had seven people staying at the property. I would say that the house was very dated, with no working televisions and wifi that only reached the lower levels of the house. But other than that it is a beautiful property.

The host contacted us a couple of days before we checked in, asking for our arrivals dates and times. We told him we had to confirm later what time we were arriving because we did not yet know. We flew into Athens and travelled straight down to the port. After the stressful event of securing a ferry to Santorini very early in the morning, we caught the ferry and tried desperately to find someway of reaching the host. We are international travellers; we have no SIM cards and we couldn’t find wifi, so our efforts were to no avail. Hopping off the ferry we hoped that if we got a taxi to the property we could maybe walk into town or to somewhere with wifi and contact the host. A taxi company helped us out and charged us a standard fee to drop us and our massive bags at the accommodation. They then went the extra mile to call the host and explain that we had caught a taxi and were waiting at the property. A couple of minutes later the host arrived. Getting out of the van he looked mad. We introduced ourselves and tried to explain why we were at the property and that we had no way of contacting him to inform him when we would be arriving. But we were cut off. He launched into a story about how he’d been waiting at the port, with a sign, for three hours, for us to get off the ferry. He told us that we’d made him sweat and we had caused him stress. Not on any booking documents had we been informed that he had a van ready at the port for us, and we are still confused about WHY he would come to collect us when he didn’t know what ferry we were catching that day. At first we felt very bad for the man, until the point where we were already regretting our actions and he persisted with asking us for an explanation, then did not let us explain ourselves without interrupting. At this point we were being told off, and I know we may be young, but we are still adults and undeserving of this treatment.
