Pleasant

The house was in the center of a charming little village and was walking distance from various restaurants, shops, and a pharmacy. It was a good size to accommodate 7 of us. It was also well-situated for visiting the D-Day beaches and cemetery. Annabelle also seemed quite kind and responded quickly.

The host informed us one week before the trip that there would be a 120€ cleaning fee. She blamed it on a glitch on Booking. Normally it wouldn't have been a big deal, but we didn't appreciate being informed at such late notice. Especially because the host said that this was the 19th time that it had happened. After so many "glitches", you would think that the host would double check and inform the guests ahead of time or maybe add it into the description of the house, just in case. Furthermore, we weren't really sure what the cleaning fee paid for, considering there was no hand soap or toilet paper (so we had to go out and buy it), there was old somewhat rotting fruit in the kitchen, and the ironing board was disgusting and unusable. To make up for the "glitch", the host said that she would offer us bath towels (which are usually 4€ per person); however, we were only provided with 6 towels instead of 7. Unfortunately, the experience just seemed like a greedy money grab.

Séjour pour Niel en famille (18 personnes) catastrophique

Nous avions réservé 4 nuits du 23 au 27. Le 24 au matin, à la première utilisation, la douche du RDC était bouchée, nous avons enlevé une poignée immonde de cheveux. Au même moment, lors du premier lancement du lave vaisselle, de l'eau a coulé dans toute la cuisine. La propriétaire s'est déplacée, il y avait un problème d'évacuation au niveau du regard situé sous le meuble de l'évier ( il fallait l'intervention du plombier pour le démonter et y accéder, ce n'est pas très malin). Nous ne devions plus utiliser la cuisine ni la SDB ni les WC du RDC, elle nous a garanti que nous pouvions utiliser les autres..A 19h, à nouveau de l'eau partout, j'ai laissé un message à la propriétaire. Pas de réponse avant le 25 où elle nous a accusé d'avoir bouché les évacuations, c'est impossible en si peu de temps. Nous ne sommes pas stupides, nous ne jetons rien d'autre que du papier toilette dans les WC. Nous n'avons pas pu partir avant le 26. Nous ne pouvions pas nous laver et nous devions utiliser les WC à minima, nous avons dû éponger l'urine qui inondait le sol de la cuisine à plusieurs reprises. La propriétaire ne nous a jamais demandé comment nous allions, aucune empathie, aucune excuse.Nous avons tout nettoyé avant de partir (aspirateur, vaisselle etc...) pour ne pas avoir de reproches. Mais je n'ai eu aucunes nouvelles depuis le 25. Si le regard avait été accessible,elle aurait pu faire intervenir une entreprise spécialisée en urgence et si son comportement avait été adapté,nous n'en serions pas là. Ci joint quelques photos pour montrer la qualité des finitions de la maison
