Guest Access:
All our Tiki Condos, managed by La Copa Vacations, are secured with a digital lock. After submitting required documents and completing payment, guests will receive an email with a unique access code and instructions. The access code will deactivate at 11am on the day of checkout.

Situated next to Bar Louie and the Beach Bar at the Courtyard by Marriott, The Tiki Condominiums is a beachfront complex, merely a short walk from key attractions like Barry’s Bistro and Barry’s Beach Bar, as well as On the Border Tex-Mex and Clayton’s Beach Bar. Close by are the Sea Turtle Inc., the Birding and Nature Center, and essential amenities like boat docks and the Convention Center. Don't miss the nearby kite-boarding area known as 'the flats'.
Getting Around:
Easily discover South Padre Island using the complimentary South Padre Island Metro, providing convenient access to most areas across the island. You can also make use of the 'Park and Ride' facility located in the southern part of town. The property was cute. Very small but perfect for two people. The main bedroom is muggy and doesn't get below 75*. There is a humidifier in the room that sounds an alarm when the basin is full of water and needs to be drained. (Instructions about that would have been helpful)The living room gets most of the AC and stays very cool. The fold-out couch was a nice addition. Tiny kitchen, but had dishes, pans, utensils. A full-sized fridge with freezer, a gas stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher! We had everything we needed. It reminded me of my first apartment in college.Wonderful location. Walking distance, FEET, from the ocean, and having assigned parking is a HUGE PLUS. Nice swimming pools (several), so they aren't crowded. The booking agent is very communicative and sends assistance immediately if there are any issues. Lots of shops nearby to grab essentials...don't forget a can opener! The check-in process is a little stressful. They are clear about instructions and provide maps, but the process of having to go to the hotel and then the leasing office is a bit much. Complimentary breakfast is provided BUT you have to either go back to the first hotel or a different one that is closer to the condo but not on property. We just made our own in the cute kitchen. :)I get it. One group bought condos that are being rented out and managed by another group. They do work well together, but again, it is cumbersome at first pass. WOULD book again!

3 main areas of concern.1 - the dishwasher is old and should be replaced.2 - the stovetop/oven is old and should be replaced.3 - toilet requires 2-3 flushes to achieve an effective flush. It’s also old, and should be replaced.In general, we had a nice time. But this unit needs some TLC to push it over the top.P.S. the outside deck could also use some TLC.
