What a lovely place!! Our mushroom was absolutely stunning! The room has literally everything you need! The bathroom amenities and details like the hair cap, cotton pad, etc, were perfect addition! Overall for such space, you you get more than you could think of! The public transport brings you directly to Luxembourg! Breakfast was super tasty with alot of choice! Reception staff was beyond polite and friendly!! I would mention that there is a very steep ledder going upstairs where the bed is, so if you are not easy to get on that, perhaps the mushroom wouldn’t be ideal for you. That means that carrying things up and down is also not smooth but it is not a problem if you do everything organsied. Overall it was an incredible experience and I would go back!!

It is more like a suggestion, it would be good to have a way that the fresh air reaches the upper part of the lodge but we couldnt figure out how to do this. Even leaving the balcony door open for a while, we still couldnt feel the fresh air reaching the bed area. Perhaps adding up small window upstairs if that wouldnt ruin the structure… Also a small detail which is Not criticism but would help the better experience, is that the ventilator’s fans need to be cleaned up as they were quite dusty. We fully understand that it must be hard work getting on that ledder and cleaning everything every day, which is truly worth recognition, but it is also not ideal to use the ventilator in a closed off space when it is covered in dust.

Everything was clean. Location is great. Staff is considerate and friendly. We could check in a little earlier. The breakfast had a variety of options, lactose free milk and gluten free bread were available upon request.

The idea of the place is very idyllic and we liked the concept: spending some time offline in a quiet environment to help us destress and slow down for a while. The breakfast was quite good.

There was a big construction site next to the place which operated until late at night on Friday and kept going over the weekend. Besides the very loud noise, you could even feel the vibrations in our little mushroom from all the machines outside. Considering that this was not a cheap place to stay, it felt like wasted money because what we believed would be a quiet stay to wind down and relax, became almost like an experience camp where you sleep on a construction site. Moreover, the room would get very hot and there is only one tiny window which does not open if it rains, which is quite inconvenient.
