Perfect stay! Thanks for the greatest hosting :)

Spyros, his wife and their son, Fotis were exceptional hosts! I have never personally experienced anything similar. They gave us a homemade baked cake, cherries, croissants, wine, alcohol free beers and 4 big water bottles the first day! They even changed our towels once during our only 4-night stay. The property itself, was huge, nicely decorated and had an AC in every room. We had parking which was great but it is also only about 15-20’ walk from Corfu town, and the walk is lovely as you are walking by the sea. I would 1000% recommend and hopefully will visit again soon :)

A great stay and lovely hosts

We arrived on a late flight and walked from the airport which took only 10 minutes. Our hosts came to meet us as we struggled to locate the house in the dark. The hosts were very friendly and showed us around the house which is so spacious and the wrap around balcony was a real bonus for chilling outside in the lovely sunshine. We were over the moon to get a homemade cake plus water and other essentials were there such as soaps, shower gel, washing up liquid etc. We had an issue with lighting in the bathroom which was resolved really quickly and didn't cause us any inconvenience. The facilities are great and everything is provided for cooking and preparing food, mainly breakfast as we ate out the rest of the day. Beds were comfortable and plenty of warmer blankets were provided for the chillier nights. Our bedding and towels were changed half way through our week which was great! Nothing seemed to much trouble and the hosts were living right across from us. The area is great and lots to do and see in Corfu old town. We used the local shops and Lidl or supplies and the buses were great for exploring further out, we had a day trip to Kassiopi and another town close by. Overall a great experience and we would stay again if we visit the area. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Fabulous, covenient, quiet and great access to local amenities

Very clean and tidy, much bigger than the pictures give it credit. Fantastic balcony on both levels, and everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Close to restaurants and supermarkets and the old town. Hosts were on hand for anything we needed. It was also quiet of an evening so sleep wasn’t disturbed. Air con was a blessing too as it got very hot during the day.

Beautiful, comfortable stay in Garitsa

The property was so comfortable. We felt like we were staying in our own home! The house was very clean and spacious. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was so pleasant. The location is perfect. It is close to the airport and bus station and just a short walk into the old town.

No running water, no parking, uncomfortable mattresses, poor cleaning

The apartment has plenty of natural light, large perimeter balconies, and a generous amount of space, a major plus for a group of five (three adults and two children). Good location.

Unfortunately, several key issues made our stay uncomfortable. We chose Garitsa Maisonette based on its great location, high reviews (9.5), and especially because it was advertised as having included parking, which, in reality, was not provided. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn’t use the designated space due to a neighbor’s restriction and had to look for street parking instead. We later realized this had been a known issue, yet the listing still claimed parking was available. This should have been clearly disclosed, particularly since parking was essential for us due to my medical condition (herniated disc). The alley leading to the parking area was also extremely narrow, making access very difficult even if it had been usable. On nights when we couldn’t find street parking, we had no choice but to use the restricted area. The mattresses were worn and uncomfortable, the pillows old and unsupportive, and the sofa had visible hair. Several surfaces were dusty and had to be cleaned before use. Most concerning, for four consecutive mornings after 8:30 AM, there was no running water, making the apartment unusable for basic needs like using the toilet or showering. We reported the issue daily, but nothing changed. There was no water tank to assist in such cases, and no warning or updates were given. Only on the fourth day, after I expressed strong frustration, did the hosts bring a few bottles of water and offer a boat trip, which we declined, as the situation had already caused major inconvenience. It felt more like an attempt to secure a good review than a sincere effort to help, especially since the host directly asked us for one. As rental property owners ourselves in Albania, we believe true hospitality means acting promptly and taking responsibility, even for small issues, let alone something as serious as having no water during a summer holiday.

Beautiful family apartment not far from the old town, shops, sea front and parks

How quickly the host responded to questions, even answering the phone late at night when we were lost, the apartment was spacious, a true reflection of the photos, close to town and the sea front, also close to local parks and shopping, the hosts also gave us lots of local knowledge and advice, they also made cake and left wine, coffee, chocolate bunnies for the children and made us feel welcome at all times.

Nothing stood out, everything was either good or excellent.

Warm Corfu welcome, beautiful hosts and spacious, comfortable home

A beautiful warm welcome from Spiros and Dora made us feel at home, despite arriving after midnight they were there to show us around and had baked a lovely cake! The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything you need.

it’s a beatiful family home!

We had a great holiday in Corfu with the family. The spaces are large and comfortable. The house looks like an independent villa on several floors: 1 dedicated to the living area with a small bathroom (without shower) and 1 for the sleeping area. The rooms are comfortable, bright and spacious. The house is located a few minutes from the main services: supermarkets, bakery, bars etc .... Very close to the airport too! The very kind owner made us find a chocolate cake as soon as we arrived! Overall it is a really beautiful house, all finished and well-kept, ideal for a family.

The only flaw: it is located in a small and internal street, not easy to find in fact the first time it took us a while to find

A lovely apartment with very generous hosts but with some room for improvement.

The owners could not have been more welcoming, helpful and hospitable. The location is very handy for the airport which is only a short walk away but can be tiring if walking to and from the centre of the old town.

Unfortunately the dishwasher was not working when we were staying in the apartment, and we were not told this on arrival. Not so big a deal perhaps but with 5 adults staying 10 days we created quite a lot of washing up, so having to hand-wash everything reduced our enjoyment of our stay to some degree. Also the kitchen is not really well equipped in terms of cutlery (only one sharp knife; heavy old fashioned cutlery for dining; a few odd mugs) and would benefit from being updated.

Very spacious apartment in a quiet, pretty and authentic Greek feeling part of town. Easy walking distance from airport, waterfront and the old town. Hosts were very kind and friendly (gave us wine, jam!).

10 - 15 min walk into centre of the old town but this is a pleasant walk along the waterfront.

Superb

Garitsa Maisonette is in a fantastic location, only a few minutes away from the promenade to walk along to the Old Town or to benefit from local shops and restaurants. We even walked back to the airport on our departure. It was exceptionally spacious with two levels of balconies, and well equipped. The hosts were attentive, warm and very welcoming.

Perfecto!

Everything was perfect! House is very close to old town (10mins walk) in very nice neighborhood. House is clean, spacious with AC in every room. Location is perfect and it is a good place to stay on Korfu. All what you need is in this house! But let’s move to the biggest asset of this place - our hosts! Fotis and his whole Family is amazing! The nicest people, very friendly and helpful. You feel with them like it would be your Family too! You’re gonna love Dora, Spiros and Fotis like I did, trust me 🙂

The best place to stay in Corfu town!!

Dora, her son and her husband were the nicest hosts we have met. Their attention to detail and personal touches were exceptionel! The house was fully equipped and the location was great with many facilities very close by (including the sea). One of the guests worked during our stay, and the internet worked perfectly for this. I would highly recommend this amazing house!

Had to have been one of the best rentals we have stayed in.

Fotis and his brother Marco were at the Airport ready to pick us up with a clean and new rental vehicle. They brought us to the house that was new and extremely clean. The house was exactly as the photos. Lots of room in each bedroom and a large bathroom on the second floor. A/C units in each bedroom was new. The first floor had a very spacious living room/dining room and large kitchen with new appliances. We also loved sitting on the wrap-around balcony every morning and eating breakfast. The family is always there with their support. They recommended areas of Corfu to visit, brought us a map, suggested restaurants and beaches. Dora was a lovely and caring person that cooked many times and brought local dishes for all of us to eat. Every day we were asked if everything was fine with the house. I highly recommended this house. Our family felt as part of the family and neighborhood. We left Corfu with the satisfaction of having a wonderful vacation.

Prekrasan vikend proveden u Krfu sa prijateljicama

Jako nam se svidio apartman tj. kuća. Prostrani dnevni boravak sa velikom kuhinjom, potpuno namještenom. Osjećali smo se kao u vlastitom domu, ugodno i opušteno. Prvu noć nas je dočekao topli kolač i boca vina, upravo to što nam je trebalo u kasnu noć nakon puta. Domaćini su bili vrlo blizu i na pomoći. Polożaj kuće je blizu aerodroma, ali i do grada je lako doći pješice.

Krevet na kat bi mogao imati bolje ljestve. Odrasloj osobi je teško popesti se na gornji krevet jer je gazište ljestava jako usko. Inače svi kreveti su bili vrlo udobni.

Propre, généreux, complet et calme.

Très bel établissement avec un excellent accueil de la part de la maman de l’hôte. L’espace est vraiment immense, l’appartement est très propre avec toutes les installations nécessaires. Mention spéciale à la cuisine et au salon qui sont idéaux pour une famille, afin de se reposer. À seulement 10 minutes à pied de l’aéroport, et pourtant l’emplacement de l’appartement fait que nous sommes dans un très grand calme, vraiment reposant.
