About this villa rental
If you want to experience the traditional Spain then “Villa Ramos” is the perfect choice for your holiday!
This lovely secluded finca has modern facilities, is spacious and comfortable with subtle and tasteful furnishing and is full of character and rustic charm.
Have your breakfast on the terrace with stunning views across the olive grove to the valley and mountains beyond. The house and pool is completely private for intimate swimming and sunbathing.
A five minute drive to the village of Valle de Abdalajis, two local bars on the way serving brilliant tapas and meals, the village has all the amenities you will need. Two supermarkets, a bakery, butchers, fruit shops and other small shops that you will find if you walk around the pretty narrow streets. There is a variety of bars serving good wine and traditional Spanish food and there is a market on a Thursday in front of the church. There is also a medical centre and tourist office.
Photos will not tell you about the atmosphere and serenity at Villa Ramos. They cannot tell you about the mountain that is a back drop to the house and sings in the evenings - we don’t know why, and it isn’t every evening, but listen carefully and you will surely hear it.

Entrance via secure electric gates with intercom. Parking.

Entrance to large open plan sitting room/kitchen/diner.

1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms (one with access to outside).
Bathroom: shower over bath.
Washing machine in inside hallway.
Wifi, TV/DVD player.
Fire extinguisher. First Aid box.

There are lots of positives to this place - it is a nice villa in a really good area, and just outside the small town of Valle de Abdalajís -which is a very friendly and authentic Spanish town that has very few tourists (Its a full hours drive north of Malaga away from the coastal tourist areas), so it is really a very authentic place.
My only 2 issues were both related to the extreme heat when we were there in August and it was 38 degrees C in the daytime. The first issue was with the wasps which were a bit of a problem since they were foraging for moisture and were a bit of a problem round the pool (at other times it would be OK, but there is a serious drought in the area at present). The second issue was the fact that the aircon is in the living room, but not in the bedrooms, so the bedrooms were very hot at night. Sleep was possible by lying on top of the beds with the fans running, but it was uncomfortably hot. Again - in cooler weather it would not be an issue. Overall, it was a brilliant place and a very enjoyable holiday, so i'd rate it pretty highly, and the owners were very keen to help us in any way they could.

This villa has magnificent views, whilst giving you a true taste of rural Spain. All facilities, especially the pool, were of a high standard. During our stay there was a minor problem due to previous tenants which the property owner went to great lengths to rectify in an extremely attentive and efficient manor. Overall we had a brilliant stay and are very happy we chose Villa Ramos!

Villa Ramos was a lovely place to spend our family time away. We had an amazing time, the villa is very beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. I would recommend the villa certainly hope to go back one day.
