About this cabin rental
My home is cozy and sweet, artsy-chic! I am an artist and my home is my muse...
All the conveniences of home plus a few deer & turkey around the yard in the early hours.
Cozy main bedroom on first floor w/ a comfy queen bed.
***My loft space (I do not live there!!) is my own private space so no access but you can enjoy the natural light from the 2 skylights overhead. You have access to the entire first floor plus side & back porches!
Conveniently located just 4 miles south of hip Three Oaks, Mi. (google this fun town:), there are miles of bike-able and walkable roads right out the front door!
Harbert Beach, a small beach near the woods, is 14 minutes away, Three Oaks is a 6 minute drive. But this lovely and quiet home will seem like miles away from the city. Friendly well hidden neighbors...
Green lush woods and a spring fed steam off the back deck will be your idea of solitude.
A well behaved pup is welcome and he will think he has been born again! Many places to sniff & explore. And NO annoying pet fees!
You can: hike, bike, walk, run, stumble, snow shoe, cross country ski...
cook, grill, eat, drink, kiss your dog, kiss your love, nap, antique shop, outlet shop, barn sale shop, pick apples, pick peaches, pick blueberries, pick on each other ~ no!
Stay up late, sleep in late. Look for early morning deer & turkeys out the bed room window. Walk your dog, talk with your dog, run w/ your dog, sleep w/ your dog, hug your dog. Bike over rolling hills, follow the Apple Cider Century roads!
Really great country road walking and the best in the midwest biking, 10 seconds from front stoop.
Go to Three Oaks. Eat: Oaks Eatery & Violas for breakfast, Froehlich's, Staymaker. Great antiquing. Great Gallery's. Vicars Indie movie theatre ;)
BEACH: Harbert Beach is local, near and free. 15 minute car ride (with the windows rolled down, of course!)
**Warren Dunes is 3 miles north of Harbert Beach off of Red Arrow Highway. Miles of dog friendly groomed hiking trails through the wooded Dunes and a great DOG BEACH ! Pack a lunch and a beach umbrella and make a day of it!
Nightlife: Vickers for movies, Acorn Theater for LIVE and all kinds of adult fun!! 4 Winds Casino for gambling, dining, crazy-great concerts!
Food: Hestons has the BEST Prime rib and is 4 miles away, yum! Viola's in 3 Oaks for best biscuits & gravy! Oaks Eatery is delish. Nearby New Buffalo for a huge variety of tasty meals:)
Red Arrow highway : more fantastic antiquing, dining, walk up BBQ, sandwich places etc.
Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries all over the place, minutes away!
Gambler? Four Winds Casino, New Buffalo: 12 miles away.
World class Golfing.
Fresh H2O fishing.

Very accommodating to us and our 3 furbabies. Not many places would have allowed a 3rd, but each are trained and older so they sleep most of the time lol. Cute rustic decor with high end details. It was a great little retreat. Nice prime rib restaurant nearby with great drinks... icing on the cake. I love the catering to pups details. They loved exploring the property. There is one huge dog bed, us we brought two.

What a beautiful space. Nestled in the woods with two decks to enjoy our morning coffee on. The peace and quiet was just what we needed. The house itself was bright and cheerful with sweet reminders to relax and let go. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we may have needed to cook with and it was beautiful. The game/reading room was cozy and perfect for putting together a puzzle or curling up to read a book. The bedroom was dark at night perfect for sleeping( we are surrounded by street lights at home). There were quite a few dog beaches in Indiana at the dunes which was perfect for our dog Luna and alot of places to hike. Unfortunately this time around Warren dunes was off limits due to black flies! There are a ton of scenic and challenging bike routes just out the door and very little traffic. Suzanne created a place of beauty. She is an attentive host. We felt cared for. I highly recommend her space. We eill be back.

We appreciated the great communication and information that was provided. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the yard very much. We found lots of parks nearby that were good for bird watching and hiking. Thanks so much !!

Home was very cluttered and floors dirty. Musty odor very noticeable right away.
My allergies were really bad. House might have mold. I struggled with my asthma. Pictures portrayed in ad were different than what the house actually looks inside. In the yellow sunroom, for instance the pics fail to show a giant fooseball table in the middle, several chairs & a couch. Was not functional at all Was asked by property owner to not to wear shoes in the house. Wore socks & soles were black within 3 hours. Picked up one of the rugs and tons of dirt and grime under it. The faucet on the kitchen sink would turn itself back on. We finally figured out to keep in off wenhad to place in the "cold" position. Coffee maker water unit was filthy and slimy. I cleaned it. There was a Keurig but was not aware it would be there as not in ad. Bed in master is against the wall. To get out you have to climb over your bed mate. The tub was an old bear claw style tub so very hard to crawl into if you’re short or older which I am. Window ac worked well but wasnt sealed so bugs were getting into house. Mostly mosquitos. Got all bit up.
Nothing a little duct tape wouldnt fix. Overall the location was good to get to the casino. Did allow for early check in and late check out. Least that she could have done with all of the issues. Was hoping for a refund of maybe 1 night of 3 or some price reduction. I did bring the issues to her attention that would be an easy fix for future renters.
