Big Vista is a spacious 900 sq. ft. Open Living Luxury suite. Big Vista has one of the best views on Vancouver Island. Guests will enjoy 220 degrees of uninterrupted views of more than 100 km of coastline across the Salish Sea. Big Vista offers guests a private, luxurious suite with classic styling and traditional ambiance.
Big Vista has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with high end appliances, granite countertops, and a gas stovetop. The views from the Great Room are spectacular. The suite has 1 bathroom with a walk in shower and full laundry. It offers 2 patios: one for the spectacular sunrise views and the other for the amazing sunsets. The Big Vista suite offers a library, games, a piano, a gas fireplace, and two TVs. The flooring in the suite is a beautiful cherry hardwood.
Big Vista offers a queen bed with freshly pressed quality linens and duvets for a luxurious sleeping experience. Fleecy robes are provided for the comfort of the guests.
Big Vista has a private entrance down 1 flight of outside stairs. Guests are encouraged to explore the large terraced garden and to enjoy the beautiful landscaping. Big Vista is located in a quiet neighbourhood and offers a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Beaches and trails are nearby, sea lions and whales are often seen swimming past, and the eagles are frequently found in the trees. Guests enjoy relaxing and enjoying the cruise ship views of the ocean. Big Vista offers a comfortable, luxurious vacation experience for visitors to Vancouver Island and Nanaimo.

The property is amazing with spectacular views and gracious hosts. My family and I were lucky enough to see whales, eagles, dear and bunnies from the comfort of the living room window. Debby and John are both amazing hosts happy to assist with information about the area and any other inquiries we had. The location is close to everything you’d need and yet very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a great trip to Nanaimo.

Easy check in with helpful hosts. Everything as described in the listing was spot on.Well appointed and well maintained, it was a delight to stay at Debby and John's suite. Easy access to restaurants and grocery stores and the emergency dentist that I required as recommended by Debby!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our second visit to Big Vista and we are already planning our next one!
John and Debby are incredible hosts who again provided a very warm and personal welcome when we arrived.
We had absolutely nothing we needed to contact John and Debby about, during our stay, as they have provide every possible thing needed.
The cleanliness, organization, beautiful decor, attention to every detail of the suite and the phenomenal and breath-taking views once again made our stay far beyond a five-star experience!!
Thanks to Debby alerting us we were able to spot a pod of orcas passing by! 🙏🙏
