About this house rental
Welcome! Our contemporary home is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains on 5.26 acres. Ideal for family gatherings and reunions. Located just 1.5 miles from the village of Margaretville and 12 miles to many wedding venues located in the villages of Roxbury, Andes and Bovina. Nearby, 9 miles is Belleayre ski center and Plattekill ski is 10 miles.
An open air concept contemporary house with stone fireplace and woodstove. Enjoy the mountain view from inside through the sliding glass doors and sky lights or out on the wrap around deck. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms . One of the downstairs bedrooms is a large open space with three queen beds. The other four bedrooms have one queen bed. Plenty of room for the family. We also have our front desk concierge available at no charge and a 24 hr. emergency contact person

The house has a good layout with plenty of room and an easily accessible master bedroom with attached bathroom that is perfect for older adults or people with disabilities. The kitchen has everything you need and the large deck has great views. While the kitchen and bathrooms were clean the bathrooms were neglected the sheets and pillowcases were clean the rest of the rooms were not. A few items in the house are outdated and in need of repair or replacement. There is plenty of parking and a lot of usable outdoor space. House was easy to access and locate.

This was by far the best vacation experience I have ever had. The property was beautiful and the house came with everything a group of 15 could need and more. We came to ski and wound up spending more time in the house because it was a great set up and had different areas for people to different activities and not annoy one another. Our teens loved the space in the addition- it had pool and table tennis and a great movie set up. I really do hope we can stay agin because this house made our family vacation a truly magical experience!!!!

There were dead bugs all around the house, in the kitchen, bathrooms & window sills. The fridge had a lot of leftover food particles. Towels were not in the best condition. This is not what you expect from a holiday home. All the reviews I read earlier said that the place was very clean, which is what attracted me to it, despite the fact that it was very old and not particularly attractive. And when we arrived, this is what we found out. Very disappointing!!
