The host was lovely and very helpful and even supplied a nice bottle of wine on arrival. The apartment was spotless and very new, fortunately with very good air conditioning as it was a hot week. The location is not far from the harbour (which you can see if you lean out of the window and look right), a couple of minutes walk to a choice of beaches. It is also located just off the main square which is quite lively at night with lots of restaurants to choose from and usually some entertainment. A small winding staircase takes you up to the roof-top terrace which has panoramic views of the sea. We had a great stay - thank you very much.

This is a lovely little apartment in central Calasetta. It's spotless and easy to keep that way. Comfy beds, a good shower, and a useful little kitchenette, along with a washing machine and a little courtyard for drying clothes and beach gear. It's located right around the corner from the main square and the most lively area but doesn't suffer from noise. There's a bakery a three-minute walk away and a mini-supermarket a one-minute walk away. The AC is efficient, which keeps you a pleasant temperature when you need it. And it's walking distance from the nearest beach, a beautiful little cove with calm, clear water. Take the provided parasol, as it does get very hot down on the beach!
There were only two very small gripes. The internet service occasionally did not work. The parking space is on street outside, but it's not reserved, so sometimes other people park there and you might need to park a little up or down the road. Outside of that, it couldn't have been any better.
