Casa Jaqueline ( Attico )

The location was very easy to find and in a great position, close to the water bus stops (Arsenale) and the main attractions. And slopes over the one canal bridge you need to cross to get to it. The decor is very well presented and the whole apartment is comfortable. The terrace is wonderful with a fabulous sun set every night. We loved sitting out and listening to the city sounds and music each evening. It wasn’t loud. Having a lift is a real bonus as it’s in the 4th floor. Very useful having a good washing machine too. Everything was there that you needed, it is very well planned and laid out. And a very good sized apartment.

The apartment does have sloping roofs so for tall people this could be an issue in the kitchen and bathroom. The stairs up to the terrace aren’t the easiest and you need to walk through a window frame rather than a door- we managed though and it’s worth it. The internet wasn’t the best and we found we were using our own 5G data a lot of the time. Not sure why it kept dropping out. However none of this would stop us going to this lovely apartment again.

We loved the size of the apt. and it had everything we needed including ample room to do some clothes washing and air dry them in the apt. The view from the balcony was awesome. We loved the attic wooden beams even though we had to duck at times especially in the bathroom.

The lift was very small. Lucky to fit 2 suite cases on their own. The balcony was hard to get to from a ladder but worth it. A couple of kitchen items were missing but the host brought them to us upon asking and the safe didn't work.

We had much more space than we needed. Everything was working perfectly. Having a good kitchen allowed us to make our own breakfast. Everything was sparkling clean. Comfortable bed and sofas.
