Golden Pearl Hotel Near Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia UTHM

Semua okayyy cume tv je tk boleh pakai.. will stay again

I've experienced staying in good and bad hotels. Some are great and memorable. But my stay in this place has been the worst hotel experience ever. We came in to check into the hotel, with the lady at the counter was busy entertaining a hotel guest's complaint on the phone. Something to do with loudly vibrating pipe whenever the guest turned on the water...and we can hear the sound at the lobby too...in real time. There was also no lift, we had to use the stairs. We booked two rooms, with one room for my teens. They told me that their shower was broken and had to use the hand bidet to take a bath. Both rooms got OYO's No Smoking Area sticker, yet both rooms reeked the smell of cigarettes. The toilet door of my room was made of glass and emitted a very loud sound whenever we used the door. And the door got an obvious gap that you can peek into...no privacy there. We also complained that the TVs of the two rooms cannot be used, and the lady at the counter proudly said that all TVs of the hotel were down. No breakfast was given for this hotel, but it got a small kiosk area to buy drinks and snacks. My only praise would be the available Coway water dispenser at the entrance. Would I come again here? Nope. Like I said, it was the worst hotel experience. An experience not to be repeated.

Appreciate

The price is cheaper, but it’s not worth it. If bed bugs get attached to your personal belongings, it can become very costly. The hotel is very dirty. I found a lot of bed bugs. I took photos and showed them to the staff. He gave me two cans of insect killer and told me to spray them. The whole night, the room was very smelly because of the spray. The worst part was that the counter staff (lady) asked me to return the bath mat (floor towel) to the counter when checking out in order to get my deposit refund. You have to bring the used bath mat (floor towel) back to the counter.
