The staff was very friendly :) the location was perfect to explore Puebla city center, just a short walk to the zócalo and all the shops and restaurants. The room was beautiful and spacious, the bathroom had a luxurious feel to it and everything looked nice and clean. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, it was convenient to have breakfast there.
Parking was apparently 4 blocks away, but we just dropped off our stuff in front of the hotel and the staff would park our car wherever it was. Everytime we needed our car we had to wait for about 20 mins for them to get it. It was fine for us, but it might be something to take into account if you are in a hurry.
There is a strange smell in the room, like some bad air freshener. Also it was a bit damp. The ventilation in the bathroom is not working, so a shower directly creates a sauna in the bathroom and there is no window to open in there.
In spite of this, we enjoyed our stay.

The property was an old colonial type Casona, close to the Zocalo and restaurants.
The property and furniture is a bit dated and had an unpleasant smell at times due to the humidity of the old walls and sewer pipes. Although it doesn’t have an on site restaurant, there is a cafe next door that offers meal options, unfortunately it opens at 8:00am. Also, it would be ideal to have ice machine or provide guests with ice some how.

The hotel its self was pretty, the courtyard was nice.
room smelled like mildew which gave us a headache. Was accused of smoking in the rom which definitely did not happen. beds were hard pillows are flat. didn't care for the immediate area that it was located.
