Very Nice and central apartment in the heart of Florence. Few steps from the famous Ponte Vecchio on the Arno river and all the main monuments of the city, like Pitti Palace and Uffizi Gallery.
The airconditioned house is located on the 2nd floor (50 stairs) of a 5-storey building. A spacious bedroom with bathroom, a small and charming kitchen overlooking a bright living area, where there is a comfortable sofa bed. Ideal for a couple or for a family with one or two children. Ye who are weak at heart, and legs to go with it, think before you choose! There are not only many stairs to climb but the walk up the hill is pretty tiring, too. ;-)Now, with that being said, just know Galileo used to live just a few more apartments up the hill. So if it was good for him, it was certainly good for us, too!! The apartment is pretty central to everything and you can eat all you want because you’ll work it off walking back. LOLEverything I just stated is meant in good spirit as you simply need to know you are staying as the people stay. It is not the typical American hotel so please don’t think it is. Enjoy your stay and learn to love the area. So much history!

Nice place in a great location, and the owner helped out when the wifi router went down. I would give a much stronger review if they updated/refreshed their pillows (basically lumpy concrete), mattress (has clearly never been rotated), and electronics (surge protectirs are several decades old, hence issues with the wifi going out).
