We stayed in the lovely, spacious property for 2.5 weeks. Merced was great. She made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to help us find our way around and was available to answer any questions. Merced even offered to help make a hairdresser appointment and translate what my daughter wanted done to her hair. It felt like home away from home.
The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We tended to walk down to the beach, explore the area, shops, eat out and then get a taxi back, which cost around €6. The aircon in the apartment was a welcomed treat when returning from a day out in the hot sun.
The main supermarket is also about a 10 minute walk away and right near the tram station, where we got a tram and went to Alicante for the day. The supermarket has everything you need. As we bought large 8l bottles of water, we again got a taxi back to the property after shopping for food.
When we go again, I will be packing mosquito repellent and creams as we did get bitten. As the property is on the last green belt area, dealing with the mosquitoes was an easy compromise for the beautiful view we had from our balcony.
The swimming pool was immaculate and we enjoyed many swims in the late afternoon.
We will definitely be booking with Merced again.
