The accommodation is wonderfully comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. It actually looks even better in person than it does in the Booking photos. Angela is a gracious, welcoming, and discreet host who made us feel truly at home, and we greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the property. The location is peaceful and slightly secluded, while still being close enough to enjoy the city and its lively atmosphere whenever you feel like it. This was our second holiday in Kefalonia, and we happily chose Razata again, as it is an excellent base for exploring the island. Argostoli is nearby and can be reached on foot in about 15–20 minutes by crossing the pedestrian bridge over the bay. Makris Gialos Beach is around 7 km from the property and offers soft sand, clear water, and a wonderfully gentle entrance into the sea. Myrtos and Antisamos beaches, along with Melissani Cave, are all within easy driving distance, while the charming villages of Assos and Fiscardo are about an hour away by car. For everyday essentials, there is a Lidl just a few kilometres away, as well as several smaller supermarkets in Argostoli. June felt like the perfect time to enjoy the island: it was pleasantly quiet, the weather was warm without being overwhelming, and the prices were a little more friendly too.

Everything was just fine.

Casa molto accogliente, eccezionalmente pulita, spaziosa, recentemente ristrutturata con gusto. Provvista di tutto il necessario per cucinare, biancheria sostituita ogni 3 giorni, lavatrice e prodotti per l'igiene personale inclusi. L'ampia terrazza gode di una vista sulle montagne dell'isola con bei panorami all'alba ed al tramonto. La zona è perfetta per esplorare l'isola, in pochissimi minuti in auto si raggiunge la scenografica passerella pedonale che attraversa il golfo e raggiunge Argostoli. In massimo 45 minuti di auto si raggiungono tutte le spiagge piú belle di Cefalonia. Una menzione particolare per la signora Angela che ci ha accolto con gentilezza e discrezione, sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessitá.

L'unica pecca è che non viene fatta la raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti, ma potrebbe essere una problematica del comune.

A beautiful space in a great location. We walked to the town centre several times - took about half an hour or so and always over the beautiful stone bridge. For when we needed to get further, Angela gave us the personal number of a very nice taxi driver who became our regular driver! We absolutely loved our time here.
