Apartamentos Graciosamar

The hosts were excellent — very responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout our two-week stay. Although there is no washing machine, they kindly helped us get our laundry done free of charge, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself was very clean, incredibly spacious and in a great location, close to the beach, harbour and centre of Caleta de Sebo. Check-in was very easy using the lockbox. The upstairs bedroom was particularly lovely, with a very comfortable memory-foam-style bed and access to a large roof terrace with fantastic views over the harbour. The wifi signal is clear but only covers one floor at a time - but we simply would move the router around as needed.

A few areas of the apartment could do with a bit of updating. The downstairs beds were noticeably less comfortable than the upstairs bed and it was also prone to feeling very hot and stuffy and as it backs onto a small internal courtyard shared closely with a neighbouring holiday flat, noise can sometimes be an issue at night if neighbours are cooking or chatting late. The living-room sofa has torn original covers, which they had attempted to cover with a loose cover on top but this was constantly slipping off, which then made the whole room feel messy. The upstairs shower was also leaking during our stay and we noticed some signs of possible wood-boring insect activity in some of the furniture upstairs. Both issues were reported by us and the management team responded very quickly to say they would get this fixed, so hopefully they will have been resolved for future guests. But given the price of the apartment, I do feel some of the furniture and fittings would benefit from a little investment and updating.

Its very clean, complete equipped, close to beach, ferry, en restaurants.

The huge terrace with no view beside neighbors, is under the exhaust of nearby Rosa restaurant, so not pleasant. Only missing doormat to keep sand out. It comes very bare, not even a bottle of water, after your self service check-in.
