nice apartment located inside a gated community, with pools and a gym. its next to the beach, some shops and restaurants. inside we had everything we needed for a longer stay- towels, kitchen utensils, coffe maker, and washing machine. its a great place to choose when staying near Ovar and Porto :) i highly recommend

the parking spot in the garage is quite small and between pilars, so it can be hard to park when having a bigger car.

Ovar is very nice and close to Porto and other attractions. The apartment was well-equipped located beside the sea with wonderful views and very spacious. The local food was very nice and reasonably priced as were the supermarkets.

Unfortunately, Ovar can be quite chilly due to the sea breeze, which easily lowers the temperature by 10 degrees. While this might have been specific to the time we visited, we learned from some locals that it's a common occurrence. On a positive note, the apartment itself is spacious, well-equipped, and aesthetically pleasing. However, there is a persistent odor reminiscent of dampness and old ladies' perfume. Additionally, one of the beds in the apartment had broken slats that continuously collapsed during the night, resulting in an uncomfortable sleep experience. Noise from adjacent apartments is easily heard and unfortunately, during our stay, there was construction going on in the apartment below that started promptly every morning at 8 am.
