Apartamento Aguamarina 4B Primera Línea de Playa

El apartamento tenia todo lo necesario, con una ubicación escepcional y vistas maravillosas. Además el vecino tiene unos simpáticos pajaritos que pone a cantar en el balcón a las 8 de la mañana y alegran el despertar.

Closeness to the beach and restaurants

The beds weren’t very comfortable.

The location was perfect. It was very near to the old town, restaurants and bars. The sea view was stunning. We had a car but you didn't really need one as Carrefour was within walking distance and there was a Mercadona a few minutes away.

The apartment was a bit dated and could do with a freshen up. Toaster definitely needs changing. Oven door didn't close properly. Washing machine was very noisy. All the above is only our opinion and could be very easily rectified to make it excellent.

The major selling point of this apartment is the location. It's right opposite the beach and the view from the balcony is beautiful. The sunrises can be quite something. The apartment is, from our perspective, in the best part of town and is a very short walk to the Mercadona supermarket and a 10-15 min walk to the huge Carrefour. There are literally dozens of restaurants within a 10 min stroll. The heating is very efficient and the shower pressure is excellent. The wifi is strong and stable. The TV has Netflix & Prime.

We cut our 10 day stay short and left after 6 days. This was primarily down to the poor mattress in the main bedroom which gave my wife and I bad backs from the first night's sleep. It really is poor and far too thin without sufficient springs to offer decent support. There were other aspects that also disappointed us. The kitchen is very small (and old) and everything looked as if it needed a good wash. We purchased new mugs, cutlery and tea towels. The coffee machine was/is broken and the kettle has so much limescale at the bottom that any hot drink has a film on the top. The toaster is quite possibly the most dangerous appliance I can recall ever seeing. We also purchased new bath towels to replace the existing, rather threadbare, towels provided. The host messaged to say that he was always available to assist if required. I messaged him on 26th Dec to let him know that we had departed and that he was free to service/clean the apartment whenever he wished, but never received a reply. He even messaged us on what would have been our final day had we stayed the full 10 days to wish us all the best for our home journey...clearly oblivious to the fact we'd been back home for 4 days. This apartment could be spectacular with a relatively small investment/upgrade but for us there are currently too many sub standard aspects to consider revisiting.
