I absolutely loved the cosy, homely vibe — it had everything I needed and truly felt like a home away from home. The bed and linen were wonderfully comfortable, and every little detail had clearly been thought out with care. It’s such a welcoming space, perfect for relaxing and feeling completely at ease.
I genuinely can’t think of anything I didn’t like — everything was so well thought out and comfortable, it made the stay feel effortless and completely enjoyable.

A beautifully presented property finished to a very high standard. The house is spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean — everything felt fresh, spotless and very well cared for on arrival. The property also has lovely period features which give it real character while still feeling modern and well maintained. The location is excellent, peaceful yet very convenient for Salcombe and the surrounding area. The kitchen is well equipped and the living spaces are ideal for relaxing and socialising. One of the standout features for us was the parking — which is very rare in such a central location — and it made a huge difference to the ease of our stay. Overall, everything felt very well organised and thoughtfully prepared.

The Old Post Office is an outstanding property in a truly perfect Salcombe location. It sits right in the heart of town, within easy walking distance of the harbour, shops, restaurants and coastal paths, yet inside it feels peaceful, private and secure. The house is beautifully presented, immaculately clean and clearly very well cared for. It’s light, spacious and thoughtfully laid out, offering both stylish surroundings and a genuinely warm, homely feel. The attention to detail is excellent – from the quality linens and extremely comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and modern, spotless bathrooms. Everything feels carefully considered and professionally managed. It works equally well for relaxed evenings in as it does for making the most of Salcombe’s energy. Having parking available is a huge advantage and makes the whole stay effortless. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the area and a place we would not hesitate to return to.

The location was incredible. Just 50 meters or so from the estuary and fantastic views from living room and kitchen. The property seemed vary spacious and was very clean!
