Hikkaduwa backyard beach homestay

A very special place to stay with a very nice family. Highly recommended. Walk on to the beach from the backyard. Walk along the beach inlow season and have it almost all to yourself.

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. The location is perfect - just steps from a quiet, beautiful beach. Our host, Dilini, was kind and helpful. She serves tasty, authentic Sri Lankan meals at a very reasonable price. She can also arrange an affordable scooter rental if you'd like to explore the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, friendly, and well-located place to stay

It was a simple and comfortable homestay. The beautiful beach is only steps away with a restaurant and beach beds available. As homestay as it gets : you live in the house with the parents who are really kind. They offer all meals for a good price (under 1000 LKR) and even tea if you’re around. It’s a simple place, did not feel very intimate as the window opens up in the hallway, and the kitchen is closeby so can get quite smokey. My main issue: the concept of boundaries seem lost in this family:( the mom touched my ass when I was going to the beach (trying to compliment me?) and the manager of the place (their daughter) messages me a lot through whatsapp. At first it seemed kind and i thought she was being a responsive host. But it became intrusive; after I left I keep receiving messages on how is my day and where I am now and receiving pictures of their day.

That owner is not good he fight with me he talk bad word all time I m sad too much But owner daughter is too much good

I m scard to much that place because this hotel owner is too much shouting and talk bad words
