About this house rental
Between Muri and Titikaveka is a small village called Tikioki, it boasts Rarotongas’ top snorkeling area called “Fruits of Rarotonga” and is situated in the middle of a marine reserve.
If the plan in coming to Rarotonga is to relax and snorkel or swim the days away Rukuruku (Cook Islands Maori for to dive and seek) may be what you’re looking for. Its literally across the road from “Fruits of Rarotonga”.
Rukuruku is a three bedroom home, recently renovated and sitting on a big chunk of lawn (ideal for kids) and surrounded by the islands native flora and fauna.
There is a large covered deck out the front for watching the day pass by, and at the back of the house is a carport. Inside, the main living area is large roomy and bathed in light all day. There is ample space for everyone in the open plan kitchen living and dining room areas. Off to the side are the three bedrooms, and bathroom.
Rukuruku is ideal for a family holiday, its location is perfect for all the things people should do in Rarotonga… swim snorkel sleep relax.

There is wifi at the house, in order to activated it you need to buy a wifi card from any shop showing the telecom “e” sign, or buy a “data pack” online using a credit card.

Amazing location, accross from the most stunning beach. There is a bit of road noise, as expected on the main road, but we managed to get to sleep. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fans were a life saver. Spacious house with plenty of room for the kids to play inside and outside on the grass, they loved the chickens and dogs who came to visit. Great for a family with children, or anyone who wants a peaceful stay away from busy resorts. Thank you!

Loved our stay here! Comfortable beds, plenty of towels. Cooking equip was lacking, but it didn’t really matter. A few more bowls for cereal would have been good. This house was a hub for our group. We also rented another house 50m down the road. With extra family also on the island, we enjoyed hanging out together. Location was lovely, right across the road from the beach. Great to have a cafe right next door, Charlie’s within 500m. A small shop was a couple of min walk. We had an issue with the power and Eddie was quick to send out an electrician after I sent him a message. Eddie also sent a message to advise on the tsunami warning that occurred during our time there. I appreciated that he considered us and letting us know what to expect.
