3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, whirlpool tub with light therapy, meadow on Honigbach
The cottage is nestled in a large garden with mature trees right on Honigbach. The Coesfelder Berg with its walks through woods and meadows is just a pebble throw away. The city center, the music theater, restaurants, cafes and the weekly market can be reached on foot via the promenade in a few minutes. The nearest grocery store is just a two-minute walk away.
The entire house was built and equipped exclusively with natural materials, it offers on three levels an incomparable indoor climate. The house is lovingly decorated in cottage style and has two bedrooms with orthopedic mattresses. The bath with whirlpool and integrated light therapy invites to relaxation and recuperation.
The kitchen is lovingly equipped with modern technology. Those who love nostalgia have the opportunity to cook and bake like grandmother on the wood fire stove or just enjoy the flames.
The cottage is the ideal retreat and starting point for activities of any kind:
The immediate area invites you to walk and hike. An adventure playground on a clearing is 1000 m away, to the monastery Gerleve is 5.3 km. 300 m away is a grocery store with bakery, where you can also have breakfast.
For lunch and dinner, I can recommend several restaurants in the area. Even people with special needs, such. B gluten-free diet, experience the full enjoyment here.
The city center with the weekly market (MI and SA), the city library and the doll museum can be reached on foot in 12 minutes.
Experience Coesfeld in different eras z. B. at a city tour, or at an organ concert in the Lamberti Church or in the music theater.
Depending on the inclination, a visit to the nearby fitness and wellness studio, the golf course, the indoor and outdoor pool with its award-winning sauna landscape will lure you to enjoy the cultural pleasures. Nottuln, 14 km away, offers a heated wave pool.
If you want to explore the local animals, this can in the Frankenhof in 22 Km distant Reken. Here you will find not only animals but also picnic possibilities, a fairytale garden and an adventure playground with a giant slide.
The "100 Schloesserrute" can be explored from the cottage starting with Farrad and car.

European cycle route R1, sandstone route, Berkel route, Muensterland bike path, Anna-Katharina Emmerick pilgrimage route.

Das Häuschen ist wunderschön und hat für uns als Familie optimal gepasst. Die Übergabe des Häuschens durch Frau Hamann an uns war völlig unkompliziert. Da wir eine Phase mit kühlerem und wolkigerem Wetter hatten, bedeutete die Nord-Ost-Ausrichtung des Wohn-Ess-Bereichs im Untergeschoss, dass es etwas dunkel war, jedoch zu keiner Zeit kühl. Da hat die Fußbodenheizung ihren Dienst getan. Bei 35°C Außentemperatur hätten wir die Wohnsituation sicherlich mehr genossen.
Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne und erholsame Zeit.

The Cottage at Honigbach in Coesfeld is a cozy little home with very tasteful interior and enough space for up to 5 people. Especially the bath with its modern rain shower invites to unwind and relax and it has been a joy to encounter beauty and love to detail at every little nook and corner of the house. The kitchen was fully equipped and we didn't have any problems to cook for and entertain 9 family members on New Year's Day. We had a wonderful time in this home away from home and are grateful for the harmony this place embodies.
Ms. Hamann is an excellent host, was easy to reach for questions and made us feel quite welcome.

Das Cottage am Honigbach wurde von der sehr sympathischen Vermieterin, Frau Hamann, liebevoll gestaltet. Als "Luxus-Cottage" würden wir es aber nicht bezeichnen. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr idyllisch und die Nähe zur Coesfelder Innenstadt sehr angenehm. Der Wohnbereich ist recht großzügig, wovon der Küchenbereich Souterrain Charakter hat. Die zwei Schlafzimmer haben leider keine Türen, wobei das untere Schlafzimmer bis zum Dach offen ist, was den Bewohnern des versetzt darüber liegenden zweiten Doppelzimmer (in dem man nur in einem kleinen Bereich zwischen den beiden Betten aufrecht stehen kann) Blicke auf das darunter liegende Zimmer ermöglicht. Um das zu verhindern, wurde eine gepolsterte Stoffdecke (in üblicher Zimmerdeckenhöhe) über dem Bett drapiert, was dadurch Blicke ausschließt, aber nicht die Akustik. Das sollte man bei einer Buchung wissen. Im dritten Schlafraum, dieser hat eine Tür, ist das Bett leider nur 185 cm lang, was bei einer Nutzung durch Erwachsene etwas unbequem ist. Leider war kurz vor unserer Nutzung des Ferienhauses der idyllische Bach über die Ufer getreten und hatte den Wohnraum überflutet. Wir vermuten, dass es dadurch bedingt in der unteren Etage sehr modrig roch. Diesen Geruch haben wir auch durch viel Lüften nicht wegbekommen.
Fazit: Ein sauberes liebevoll gestaltetes kleines Ferienhaus, mit vielen hübschen Aspekten aber auch Mängel, was mit einem Preis von 146,-- € pro Nacht überteuert ist, denn schließlich ist man im Münsterland und nicht in der Karibik.
