What a lovely week we had in this beautiful seaside home! Warm days on the beach, cocktails in the garden and falling asleep to the sound of the surf. The rooms are bright, lots of windows for wonderful ocean breezes. Beds are comfortable; appliances, furniture, etc are very good quality. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed local restaurants a few nights and went on the Matunuck Oyster Farm tour - just an hour but fun. We walked the trails at Trustom Pond Refuge - beautiful. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

We couldn't ask for much more from a vacation rental. The location is superb being only about 100 yards to the beach through your own private hedge tunnel. It is also close to Rte 1 making all of southern RI very accessible. A theater and one-mile field trail are located at the end of the drive. The beach is a mix of sand and stone (rounded stone) which thins the crowds, but adds to privacy. Waves are usually good - bring water shoes.
We were comfortable with four people in the first floor rental. The lodging is simple and clean, and if you like, you can listen to the waves all evening. Shelagh, the host, was welcoming and very helpful on local activities. We do recommend the rental and will likely be back.
