Worst Cabin Ever

The log cabin look is attractive having a gated yard for animals is appealing, fire pit and hot tub makes you also attract to the property.

All the beds are in the floor, literally on the floor for our group of all elders is was horrible, one bathroom downstairs and no showers or tubs in the main level, there is a jetted hot tub up a long flight of stairs it doesn’t not work, there is also another shower upstairs long flight of stairs which is a huge inconvenience for elders and also unsafe , the sofa and the covering is stained and had a fowl smell, the floors were all dirty our white socks was brown and had hair on them if we walked in sock feet , the heat is uneventful divided in the home you either freeze or get way to hot, the hot tub is small, water stayed like warm and never got home, parking is a nightmare, and no access to the garage or easy access to the doors to carry in luggage, fingerprints were on appliances and we found dirty dishes in the cabinets. I will never return to this cabin there is a reason the price is so low, it is also on a steep incline going into the home ow it also has broken furniture and the stereo speakers do not work, the Wi-Fi is not stable, the windows are busted there is bugs and bug spray in the laundry room and we think we seen roaches and definitely spiders

Like the fact that it had enough bedrooms for all my family that came with us

I did not like the fact that there was no supplies in the home for us. We had to end up going and buying trash bags cause we had none. We had to buy coffee pods because the sugar was so nasty looking. That was there we were afraid to use the coffee pot And there was mold in the upper bathroom and the bedroom with the bunkbeds. The door would not shut cause it is not level so it’s just some of the little necessity things like that act that I was very, very disappointed with.

Clean, comfortable, and roomy.

Not enough eating utensils, plates & bowls for a family. Also needed a can opener and oven mitts. The outdoor grill didn't work. The beds are too low (no box spring), so it was difficult for older adults to get in and out. Some upgrades are needed for the tub/showers and dishwasher.

BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!!They had BEDBUGS It was awful they refused to refund our money they did put us in an air bnb 40 min away but didn't clean our things the upstairs shower leaked on the beds downstairs my husband fixed it they said they would pay him but they didnt WE spent our whole vacation moving and cleaning and they wouldn't even respond to us

So much potential, wasted.

The location is excellent. One mile from Applewood Farms and easy access to the strip in Pigeon Forge. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pups, both two and four legged.

The house was not very clean. There were drip marks near every light switch, stains all over the walls, and stains in the toilets. The house itself has a lot of potential but has definitely had “The Handyman Special”. The banister upstairs has an L-bracket holding it in place, the rotted steps to the hot tub were covered by composite tiles, and all the rugs were curled up around the edges. I’m surprised no one has been injured yet. We were very disappointed that we could not use the screened in porch and were confused as to why all repairs were poorly done. The appliances and finishing trim look as though they were from a different house. The foundation says its a new building but the finish work says its still 1982. We will be looking for a different place for next year. I did let the property owner know that the place was dirty and she did offer to send someone out, so I will give them that. The owner seemed responsive but should probably check the property herself once in a while.

I would definitely stay here again. It's big and close to everything we wanted to do.

The bed down stairs where I slept was really comfortable. We had 11 people stay and there was plenty of room. The fenced in yard is a plus.

Alot of people complain about the steep driveway but you are literally in the mountains. That's going to be expected. There isn't a shower/bath down stairs.

Family friendly

Master bedroom (upstairs) has a master bath with a huge spa tub. Jets didn't work but was a great soaking bath! Was surprised by the number of restrooms. 2 full bath rooms, 2 half baths. Master bed was perfect. Location was pretty good. Close to parkway but further down the strip where you could get in and out easy. Fenced in yard was nice for families with kids and or pets. The few board games, crayons, etc were a nice touch.

Nothing major... But here are 3 things I'd like to see corrected/updated. Water pump (guess that's what it is... In the locked garage) runs a lot and is louder than you expect. All hours of the day and night. The internet was shoty at best. Streaming service was offered but couldn't watch it because of the internet. Only one TV... Would have been nice to have them in each of the bedrooms too.
