We have gone to the Grand Pines since I was a kid. We always loved staying there due to the beautiful lake and wonderful cabins. This time was great but we were disappointed to find huge cob webs over all of the antiques. The jets in the tub didnt work and looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a few years. I will say that we had some trouble getting the fire places to stay lit and management took care of it straight away which was much appreciated. Overall, we had a good time but will not be renting cabin 23 again.

Serene and quaint are the words that come to my mind. We had a beautiful stay. The cleanliness was spot on. The use of the pontoon boat made our stay even more special.

We can always count on Grand Pines to be clean with everything in great working order. We’ve been coming since the 90’s for extended weekends, week and two week trips. We’ve come in all seasons and have enjoyed it all. The staff is always quick to respond to anything we’ve ever asked of them. It’s the “Up North” vacation memories I have as a child.

We have stayed at several different Grand Pines cabins over the years. We like the location and the fact that they include a pontoon rental. This was our first time in Cabin 23. While it was 100% fine - we did find that this cabin is feeling a little tired. The fireplace would light, but would not stay on (we did not call for maintenance for this issue because we didn't want to hassle with it). The couch springs were also very worn and extremely squeaky. We also had an issue with the pontoon. We were out on the lake fishing and when we tried to start the pontoon back up to move spots, we found it would not start - so we had to call and have maintenance come out and put a new battery in the boat. Thankfully they were very responsive and the whole process from first call to new battery was about 30 minutes - so we appreciated the prompt response. Overall, nothing was terrible, we just felt we have stayed in nicer cabins at Grand Pines than this one.
