Originally Potters Camp, a vintage fisherman's retreat in the early 1900s, our historic lakefront lodge is over a hundred years old yet still caters to mountain visitors looking to enjoy the tranquil waters of Big Bear Lake. Catering to all types of vacationers seeking a unique mountain experience, this rustic yet spacious lakefront property offers the perfect recipe for relaxation and unwinding, from couples and families to large groups for gatherings and special events, this property is perfect for everyone. Managed by Big Bear Vacations, this historic site boasts twelve mountain-style cabins on two acres of pine-shaded lakefront property including direct lake access, a summertime boat dock, playground, and swimming pool.
Lodge House is the original office of this culture-rich property, boasting original wood walls and mountain charm paired with nostalgic vibes and a true rock fireplace where you can enjoy warming your toes together as a family or watching a movie on the flat screen Streaming TV. A full kitchen, dining area, and separate laundry room sits to the back of the cabin, perfect for preparing home cooked meals and snacks for the day's adventures. The back patio offers additional dining options and a Charcoal BBQ for you to grill up your freshly caught dinner from the lake. The spacious living room pairs perfectly with the open game room to provide plenty of space for memories to be made here in the mountains, the French doors from here lead out to the spacious sun deck complete with patio furnishings and a great view of the summertime pool.

Location is right by the lake amazing views beside all the activities like: volleyball,pool,jacuzzi,pool table which came which our cabin.

The cabin looked exactly like the pictures, however there was a few things the pictures hid. Like the broken tiles and uneven floor in the kitchen which could potentially be a fall hazard. Carpets were full of stains, there was a thin layer of dust on the mantle and the smell of smoke permeated and assaulted my nose. The toilet in the master bedroom was not bolted down so it moved when you sat .think I would not rent this cabin again.

This property exceeded my expectations with the space of the rental, the activities, the beauty of the lakeside view location, the heated pool. It was so fun and felt like home. There is more than anyone could desire for close dining and shopping, the pool and jaquizzi were heated, there was more than enough activities to do while we were there. We will definately be back!! The place was a 3 bedroom and it was Myself (the birthday girl) my 2 daughters and thier husbands and our dogs. Big ++ dog friendly. I can't wait until the next vacation. Thank you Big Bear Vacations for a Great stay and a super easy check-in and check-out. Excellent Customer Service and a really nice Office Manager who was on her first day of the job but you wouldn't have known it the way she was taking care of the property and attending to the guests. I definately will be recommending this place.

This cabin will perfect but cleaning and maintenance are terrible. The toilet in the master bedroom was not bolted down so it moved when you sat also had vomit in the corner! Dirty carpet! The dinner room cushions were very dirty and full of stains. The pool table was dusty, if this place was updated it would be great. Perfect location!
