Check in & out were very easy. The cabin was very clean & had everything needed for cooking meals. One block from lakefront and less than 5 minutes from snow tubing, mountain coaster, and go karts. In the evenings we all had fun playing pool and foosball in the cabin game room.

VERY CLEAN VERY COMFORTABLE. THERE WAS ROOM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. THEY SUPPLIED US WITH LOTS OF SUPPLIES. KIDS HAD FUN IN THE BACK YARD. POOL TABLE AND FOOS BALL WAS FUN AND KIDS LOVED IT. CABIN WAS CLOSE TO THE VILLAGE. REALLY NO COMPLAINTS.

Overall my family and I had an amazing getaway and this place was just perfect. Needs a little bit of fixing up and the maids gotta make sure the linen is clean but other than that perfect size for a party of 9. Great communication with owner and I would recommend this place

Only stayed one night with our kids and older nieces and nephews, but everyone had a great time…we played pool and foosball in the garage (yay for a space heater, it was 22 degrees outside!), card games at the large kitchen table, and enjoyed a warm fire while we watched a movie. Lots of extra blankets provided, we were all so cozy :)

On January 10, I notified Hai Hong, heater not working on a 38 degree weather. carpeted garage, flooded, dangling smog alarm Hong ignored my messages. I blame Vrbo for not inspecting properties you promote. for Vrbo and Hong, paying guest don't count. Handyman repaired hot water valve but disabled bathtub valve.

Property and location was great! Everything was very clean besides some spider webs but we are in the mountains. We brought a dog and that went great but the neighbors dogs barked a lot if my dog was outside. Yard and front porch and deck were our favorite place to hang out. Beds were great too! I read reviews they were hard but they were perfect! Not too hard or too soft.

This cabin was perfect for our family. It was not extremely clean (spider webs on the stairs and railings) and the carpet was pretty stained. That was okay with us since we were traveling with dogs and you never know when an accident may occur. The backyard was beautiful and the dogs enjoyed exploring. Beds were comfortable. Foosball and pool table were fun. The owner is responsive when assistance is necessary. All in all, an enjoyable stay as long as you aren't a clean freak.

We needed a place to stay while having our house tented. We have dogs and an extended family. This was perfect. The house is comfortable and spacious with a wonderful fenced-in backyard. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 and we really liked the proximity to the lake a village. The house itself is comfortable with some extras (like the fun pool table and goose all) but lacking in some of the most basic amenities such as comfortable beds, Paper goods, and some of the furniture is very tired. Overall it was a good stay and fit the bill for our family trip.

We were very pleased with the location and cleanliness of the property. Located near Azteca Mexican restaurant (get the sizzling shrimp on the hot rock) and the Big Bear Mountain Brewery (very cool vibe inside w live music). The teenagers enjoyed the pool and foosball table after a day of skiing on Bear Mountain. My son said the furniture was very comfortable and appeared to be brand new.

Our family enjoyed this cabin. It was convenient and comfortable, close to shops and near the lake. It’s the perfect getaway together with family while getting to enjoy the back yard which has a small little gazebo. I highly recommend this comfortable retreat. The Only Thing That Was A Challenge Was Shoveling The Snow Out So You Can Drive Out Of The Driveway, But That Is Just Normal Winter Weather Operations Lol.. What was really disappointing was what I paid for 1 night stay and the beds (all of them) were horrible and we could barely sleep because they were so hard and uncomfortable. Going away and not having adequate sleep ruined our next day. I didn't like paying for a cleaning fee when I had to do the dishes, start the laundry and take trash into my vehicle to a waste site. Because I am a very clean person I don't mind doing all of this at a lower cleaning rate, but to pay for what I did I expect perfection across the board and not be expected to do the maid service. I tried to reach out to the owner privately, but because my son forgot a small bag of trash downstairs and we did not put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher, the owner told me he should have charged me an additional $25 to the already outrageous cleaning fee. He also told me that some people like rock hard beds when I brought up the dissatisfaction. Save yourself the money and find another rental. There are several on this street alone!

Overall the house was wonderful very spacious and clean. Amenities we're great I guess we did not have to pack every tool to get through the weekend being that it was already there. I would definitely get to the house first and see what's in the cupboards and head out to a local grocery store rather than packing and taking everything up big mistake that will never happen again. I highly recommend as soon as you walk through the door to turn on the fridge on high because it takes a few hours to get cold AKA bring some drinks in the ice chest. Found a few cobwebs & spiders throughout the house on fixtures and walls inside and outside furniture. Nothing we couldn't take care of ourselves. The bonus room in the garage is a perfect spot especially in the summer it lets the Cool breeze come in, you can see the neighbors on their walks and enjoy the space of the driveway and bonus room at once. We barbecued all weekend the grill was clean. The home definitely provided plenty of seating for everyone. We use the center living room table to play board games with the family. We had issues with our devices so thanks to Harry we were able to log on his Wi-Fi !!!! Honestly the only downfall was thinking it was lakefront. We took several walks trying to get to the water and never found her way. However we drove to rent jet skis & was able to enjoy the day on the lake. All in all it was a fantastic cabin I would definitely run it again!!! We are ready to book for Christmas!!!!!!!! Thanks Harry !!!

This is in a perfect neighborhood. We were able to walk the entire area. Found an awesome brewery at the end of the road and walked to town several times. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Loved the upper deck. Harry, the owner was very communicative and welcoming. Only thing I was not a fan of was hauling our own trash out…..no one wants to take trash with them at the end of their vacation

The place was all it said it was! We enjoyed it and felt right at home. It was clean, big free, and plenty of amenities, like billiards, foosball, stocked kitchen, and plenty of space. Only downside was the ac (if at all there) never cooled the lace. It wasn’t intolerable, but I get hot, so it would’ve helped.

Fancy Bear Lodge was just the right spot for us. It was in the perfect location. Walking distance (less than a mile) to The Village and a 10 minute drive to Stater Bros. The Kitchen is fully equipped with anything you may need and the bath rooms fully stocked with towels. All of my guests raved about the shower pressure. Check-in was easy, the home was clean and Harry is very quick to respond to any questions.. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Lovely people all around the place. Would 100% rent this cabin again. Note: We did see a coyote so if you plan to bring your dogs please be careful.Cathy
