Had a great holiday

we have stayed here for the past 3 years the property is spacious beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped

The 3 piece suite downstairs is tired and needs changing or re padding as you sink into it and struggle to get out of it

Brillant relaxing time

Easy and ready on time, be good to get a text to say the property was ready as if it was ready early and you are onsite before arrivals time you could get the bonus of early admission. Added service for free

Was concerned to read building site on the resort and affecting people. Very lucky that this property was not near that and you could not hear any of the other work. Property is fantastic! New flooring on verandas.

Could have benefitted with sun loungers, and garden chairs for upstairs balcony. Resort needs more facilities really. Pool was too small, 14 year old likes swimming but could only go in family time when he would have preferred more serious swimming lengths with older brother and dad. Tennis court was Very poor. Lodge is very hot in full sun so take a fan if if in a heatwave ! Shop didn’t have much at all. Can’t fault

Lovely accommodation

The lodge was spacious and light with two lounges and a large out door terrace, the beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. Lots of crockery glasses and utensils. It was very clean. The kids loved the flow rider on the resort and the staff there were all very helpful considering difficult times.

We loved The Burrows , we were not sure about Retallak as due to Covid many things had closed, they hadn’t even opened up the onsite shop, although I believe it has now been reopened. The lake area was messy and only option at this time was line water skiing. Tennis courts closed and the area didn’t look they would ever be open to tennis again?? Hopefully all these things will improve as the season continues as we really did have a good time .

A very good holiday with family but Retallack wasn't as good as expected.

Property was spacious and good quality. Location of site accessible to many locations in Cornwall. Aqua park on site good fun

Limited facilities. Gym included but classes were extra with no information stating we would have to pay more until arriving at the Gym Reception. Receptionist very curt and unwelcoming which was not expected. Aqua park was £15 per person for anyone whether on site or not. Groups of 15+ offered a discounted price of £10 per person. There were 8 of us in the group paying £15 per person. There was no offer to Retallack residents, nor any offers/discounted prices for the flow-rider or other activities, therefore no incentive to use them. Night entertainment very limited and was cancelled on our last night without any notice given.
