Olympic Hotel

The view is incredible the floor to ceiling windows are wonderful. It’s was right next to the sports hall for the cheer event we were attending

Upon arrival there was a half drunk bottle of water on the side. Day two when we returned to our room it was unlocked from the cleaner which is very disappointing.

We attended for a cheerleading competition situated at the sports hall directly opposite the hotel. Location was perfect! The venue was immaculately clean. Modern and just so comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast had a great variety with fresh lovely food suitable for all. Rooms had a kettle as well as nespresso machines with a variety of pods provided. Absolutely will stay here again for the next competition! Very happy with our stay and price of hotel!

In the afternoons, the bar became busy as a lot of the cheer teams (staying at the property) went back to the hotel for refreshments in between sessions. There was very little staff working on the bar and service was very very slow. We waited in line for 40 mins but had to leave again to go back to the session….so didn’t get a drink/snack. Not a criticism, but something for the hotel management to look at for future events.

Even though location is not great (far from any attraction or city center), accessibilities are good with several public transport services nearby. Breakfast was good with variety of options. Staff was helpful.

Room and bar

I specifically booked this hotel as it had a hot tub. Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance during the whole stay, This was not communicated to me at all until I tried to book it..
