About this house rental
The Summer's Haven Cottage is a bright & vibrant beach-house in the Harbor Club South Haven Resort & Marina (1 mile from downtown South Haven, 1/4 mile from beach access). The lovely 1900 square foot property has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably.
Modern, colorful decor accents the quality furnishings and casual atmosphere to create an oasis that is close to downtown and other attractions, but feels a million miles away! The cottage features luxurious touches such as granite counter tops, modern appliances, 3 flat screen TVs, premium hi-def satellite, high speed WiFi, and private Master Suite balcony.
The Main Level is open concept and spacious- equipped with everything needed to cook for and serve meals to a large group, accessible powder room, full laundry room, and access to front and back porches. The Lower Level is a finished and charming guest suite- a bunk room with pyramid bunks, a family room with Queen sofa sleeper, and a full bathroom all offer a place for the kids to enjoy their own space or room for a second family if the house is being divided for a large group. The Upper Level is divided into a King Master Suite and a King Guest Suite, both equally grand and spacious. The vaulted ceilings and high level finishes of the King suites provides two couples with personal space and luxury to spare. Large closets, bedroom seating furniture, and a Master Suite private balcony make the upper level a perfect place for couples to retire for an evening of connecting and hanging out together!
Classic architecture and an open floor plan make this inviting home work well for multiple couples or a small family. This rental includes access to the Resort's seasonal community pool and clubhouse. The pool is currently closed for the season and will open again Spring 2020 (with guaranteed availability by Memorial Day).
Closest public beach is just a 15 minute walk away, very easy to walk to and a little more secluded than the busy downtown beaches. Access to beach is just off property down Baseline Rd. and has plenty of free street parking if you prefer to drive.
Just 5 minutes to the unique shopping/dining of downtown, it`s the perfect spot to escape.

This house was perfect for our family. It had two master suites, which is difficult to find and much appreciated by our extended family. The kids enjoyed the lower level and the bunk room was well appointed. The house was clean, new and well furnished. It is a bit further from the beach than we thought but it was a short drive and parking was easy. We would stay again.

Very nice, clean and modern accommodations. My kids loved the bunk needs in the basement and my husband and I enjoyed the upstairs bedroom with a balcony. Loved that they proceeded some beach toys and some other extras in the kitchen and family room (games, blankets, salt and pepper, etc). Very close walk to the pool so we didn't need to rent a good cart. And a very short drive to the beaches and downtown area. Loved it!

Very cute and had lots of room for our group. House had everything we needed and back porch offered great privacy! Further from the beach than advertised, but with the golf cart we rented it worked out fine.

Pros - updated home with a lot of space, open kitchen, nicely decorated. Not too far from downtown.
For what we paid, we had high expectations. One bathroom had not been cleaned upon arrival, and seems as though cleaning is done by office staff and not a housekeeping service.
The security code to our home was not a random number and somewhat obvious. I asked if it could be changed and that wasn't possible, which left us feeling a bit uncomfortable.
I should have confirmed before booking, but the pool was not heated and had a hose running in it.
You're within an earshot of the neighbors' porches.
Check in is 4pm sharp. It worked out for us, but wasn't aware the office closed at 5.
