Amalfi Unit 11 Above All Else 50 King Street

The location was excellent, close to Kings Beach . Can’t recommend the location highly enough.

Didn’t like the cleanliness, or lack thereof. I had to buy a surface spray to clean all kitchen. Dining table, coffee table surfaces prior to use. There was a dank smell in the kitchen cupboard under the sink. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms didn’t work, therefore everything was wet after a shower. There was a bad odour smell in the wardrobe in the main bedroom.The kitchen garbage bin had remnants of previous rubbish in the base and the edges of it had built in dirt. On the day we were checking out the neighbour (head of the body corporate) was waiting for my husband at 8:30am and followed him /us up and down in the lift asking to take the keys so they could get access to the unit for some investigation of moisture issues being carried out. We both felt pressured to leave before checkout time. The owner met us in the parking area, was polite but it didn’t help the feeling of being pressured to leave. It definitely took the shine off our stay.

Excellent location. Great undercover car parking. Good recreational facilities BBQ, gym and pool. Comfy beds. Plenty of kitchenware and great appliances.

Some broken blinds in the bedrooms. Only having one key to the Unit. Some bars in the shower and toilet would be helpful for older people. Having to pay the full amount months ahead when booking the Unit and the risk if anything happened that there was no refund.

Fantastic apartment in a very handy location. Beautiful view! Very spacious. Comfy beds.

Blinds in bedrooms missing a piece so small gap, toilet seat needed tightening but didn't effect our holiday.

location was great!! It was a very easy walk to the beach, as well as coffee shops and the tavern within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and relatively tidy.

The only negative comment I have is that it's a little dated. Having to bring linen is a little bit annoying but also nice knowing that you're in your own sheets.
