The property was updated, very clean, and well appointed in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. The owner is very communicative and helpful. For those travling by public transportation only, as we were, the train station is about 1.3 miles walking distance and is a quick ride into Salzburg. There is a grocery store about 1 mile walking that will have all your needs. There is a pharmacy about .5 miles from the train station. Taxis and Ubers are not easy to get. You can get them from Salzburg to the property but be sure and bring your passport as there is a check point right on the border that your Uber will stop at. Plan ahead if you need a car from the property to Salzburg or other locations. The owner has cards for taxis and we used one to get to Slazburg HBE as we had a few bags. We loved the property and our stay, it was quiet and peaceful to relax in after a day of sightseeing

This was a very nice home for using as a base for our family. Very comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had a question about the induction stove and needed fans. Very close to Saltzburg and the beautiful Bavarianalps.

Fantastic property. Very spacious and very modern in style. About 20min drive to city center. Supermarkets are nearby and also rail station. We did not use the rail from here but went into Salzburg Hauptbahnhof. Highly recommend unless you want to be in the city center. Odessa provided good details and getting into the property.

We really enjoyed our stay in this modern clean home. Underfloor heating throughout make sure it was cosy on a cold night. Comfortable beds. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. Highly reccomended.

Trip was cut short due to snow in mountains canceling tours but the property was very close to town so we were able to enjoy great food and drink. Odessa was very pleasant as well and check in was easy. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for three nights while we toured the area around and visited Salzburg. This house is very classy with plenty of space to spread out and relax. We had three adults and two teenagers and we felt very comfortable. There is a great kitchen, laundry in the basement and a nice patio to sit outside. It was also nice that there were two disconnected bathrooms in addition to a shower room. This gave us options for getting ready in the morning and evenings without being on top of one another. Loved this house!

This house is spacious and clean and really comfortable. Olessa (the host), who lives next door, is extremely responsive and kind. The one thing that we did not realize is how far the house is from Salzburg, and what a quiet town it is. I would not recommend staying here if you are there to explore Salzburg and do not have a car, as it is impossible to get Ubers to pick you up and the walk to the train station is longer than expected and not very pleasant (on busy roads).

The property is comfortable, clean, and just as pictured. It was easy to locate the nearby grocery store, and a quick drive to park and catch the train to Salzburg. We so appreciated the fans in each bedroom, as it was quite hot. Thank you!

This is a perfect location for exploring Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Hallstatt, and all the beautiful surrounding area. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the mountains yet close to a major road to get you where you want to go. We were in old town Salzburg within 15-20 minute. It's also close to a train station, grocery stores, and restaurants. The house was better than described! Check in was seamless and easy. It was far more spacious and perfectly clean. Each room had a fan that was helpful during the warmer days. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom might be the biggest I've seen in Europe so far! The kitchen was well appointed and I appreciated the tradition coffee maker--not a machine that makes terrible coffee. Everything in the house was is either new or good condition. The host, Olessa, was extremely kind and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. She also left a delicious bottle of wine to enjoy. I would recommend staying at this house to anyone, including families with young children, who want a quiet but close home base to Salzburg.

Wonderful house with everything you would need. Spotlessly clean, comfortable 3 bedrooms.,good kitchen facilities though microwave oven would be handy. Bathroom with bath and rain shower with two separate WCs. WiFi was excellent as was TV programmes though not many English channels. Very close to major supermarket and to the beautiful Salzbugerland and Berchtesgadener national park. Host was very hospitable and available if needed though not intrusive. Safe area with private parking space. Strongly recommend. Pictures give an accurate view of the property.

This was a beautiful property. Everything appeared almost brand new so cleanliness was top notch. Location is just a short drive into Salzburg's Old Town. We were only there two days but wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed staying at Lutz’s cottage for a couple of nights! It is a gorgeous new build and only 15 min drive to downtown Salzburg. The only downsides were that there was only WiFi coverage in the living room and was still a little spotty in there. Also, we didn’t see any fans in the rooms, which would be nice to have for warmer nights. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property.

Brilliant modern home in lovely quiet neighbourhood

My husband, two young children and I stayed at Olessa’s home for four nights and found it ideal for what we needed. The house has only recently built so is in immaculate condition with three large double bedrooms, a nice big bathroom, and lovely heated floors throughout. It has a lovely grassy garden outside as well which was brilliant for our 1 year old and 2.5 year old to play in and, because the house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac, it felt very safe too. The house is a five minute drive into main Freilassing which was a lovely town with lots of restaurants, shops, ice cream parlours and a train station. There are direct trains to Salzburg every 15 minutes and it took less than 10 minutes to get to Salzburg Old town on the train which was great. (I think the drive into Salzburg would have only taken 10/15 minutes as well but we liked the ease of using the train.) Olessa was a fantastic host. As we were arriving quite late at night she ensured we had bread, milk and fruit in the house so that we didn’t need to worry. She also only lives in the house next door so was nearby for if we needed anything which was perfect to know. We had a lovely stay at Olessa’s home and we’d highly recommend it!

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich genau so wie es bei Fewo beschrieben wird. Es verfügt über Erdgeschoss als Wohnbereich, Obergeschoss mit drei Schlafzimmern, Bad und separatem WC sowie einem Kellerraum, wo sich eine Waschmaschine, Bügelbrett und -eisen und ein Wäscheständer befindet. Alle Räumlchkeiten befinden sich in einem sehr, sehr sauberen und ordentlichen Zustand.Als tolle Besonderheit in der Ausstattung ist bestimmt der Kaffevollautomat, neue Badehandtücher und alle anderen Utensilien zu erwähnen, die man normalerweise von Zuhause mitzubringen hat.Die Vermieter sind unheimlich nett und überaus höflich, was das nahe Wohnen auch sehr angenehm gestaltet. Punktabzug gibt es für die Lage des Hauses. Es befindet sich in einer Art Siedlung am Rande von Freilassing. Deshalb bleibt da der Wunsch nach dem typischen bayrischen Flair offen. Auch die Nähe zum Flughafen Salzburg kann da manchmal störend wirken. Rundum können wir das Ferienhaus weiterempfehlen, vor allem dann, wenn man Salzburg öfters besuchen möchte.
