A proper oasis in the middle of one of the busiest tourist locations in Europe, Apartment Kameo was everything we'd hoped for. It was cool inside, and the small patio area outside was ideally situated to catch the cool of the morning and evening. Antun, the host, was great - there to greet us when we arrived and responded to our questions promptly, but also gave us as much space as we wanted. All round, a lovely place to spend a few days in a magical city.

The property was in an awesome location (very few stairs) next to the boat harbour in the Old Town and it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The host Antun was absolutely wonderful and even met me at 1am to check in due to flight delays.

The bed was too firm for my liking, but that is just personal preference.

The location of this apartment is excellent, inside the Old Town walls, in a small street with access only to the houses there, so it is nice and quiet, but has easy access to all the Old Town and with very few steps to negotiate ( which is rare). And it is ground floor. The apartment is a. very good size for 2 people (or even 3 if someone sleeps on the sofa), with a separate bedroom of good size with good wardrobe space, then a sitting area with sofa, a good size bathroom, a dining area with table & 4 chairs and a well kitted out kitchen area, which also has a washing machine which was a big plus for us (and there is a drying rack and space to put it in the apartment). Everything was well appointed with everything you could need. We didn't cook, but you certainly could prepare meals. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the details for check in and meeting by host were great, also host responds rapidly to any queries. We have been staying in different apartments in the Balkans for a month and this is the best.
