all in all, it was good, ski slopes were close but this is not ski in ski out.

The apartment was not as clean as I expected. There was dust all over the floor, cupboard shelves and upon our arrival, it was cold inside and we needed heaters. Likewise, as for the bed linen, cover and pillows, in the apartment envisaged for 6 persons, we were missing one set of this, but this was sorted pretty quickly. Ski slopes were close but this is not ski-in ski-out as it is advertised.

Perfect value for money during high ski season

Perfect value for money during high ski season. It is modern well equipped apartment and comfortable for family trip. It is about 250 metres walking to the ski slope (blue and red piste, kids slopes). It was very warm inside; the bed linen and towels are new and clean. The kitchen has really a lot of utilities like nespresso coffemachine and toaster. There are free dry and wet saunas and small children playroom with tennis table and football. You can also wash and dry clothes in the laundry room (8X50 cents per washing and 4X50 cents for drying). The skies have secured lockers outside and underground garage is perfect for snowing days. The small supermarket, bars and cafe are just 3 walking minutes away.

The communication with the staff is really a weak point: never got what was promised by the messages or by call, but considering the price and apartments quality it does not really bothers a lot. And bring with you essentials from salt to dishwasher tablets and wash sponge. As we got only toilet paper int he apartment.

Very good

We loved the location, view from our window and nice terrace. We got Sommercard which was absolutely great and saved us a lot of money. There is a nice area with sauna and steam in the basement and you can book it for free. You can also order some bread and pastry for next morning which can be convenient however we did not use it.

What we did not like is that you need to check in in another village and it took some time even though we did the online check in in advance. Ladies in the reception did not speak English very well which is surprising for such resort. Wifi did not work well, we rather used mobile data. There is a possibility to book sauna in advance however when we did so, at the booked time the sauna was still off so we had to call again and wait for it to be heated. Also we booked a children crib for 15 eur fee in advance but they forgot to prepare it. Kitchen is rather small and we missed some utensils. The apartment was not cleaned very well and overall it looked worse than on pictures however we still enjoyed our stay very much.

Greatest ever!

If you have ever have skiing in France appartements it is kind of the same self-service system, but Alpenrock is way more improved on different levels: There are a only couple of staff people like in France, but the more helpful, kind and easy to reach and they contact you in any time. There are functional apartments like in France but way more bigger and way more equipped: Water boiler, capsule coffee maker, induction stove.

The automated messages should be updated: It told us to catch up keys at a nearby hotel. However a kind lady was waiting for at place of accomodation.

Loved the views from the apartment

We liked that it’s a new build and newly furnished, also the views from the apartment were amazing! We also got a covered garage parking space for free, which was a huge bonus. The apartment is just big enough for 4, it’s a plus that the bathroom and toilet are in separate rooms. Access to the slopes is really quick and the Rohrmoos village is right on your doorstep. There’s a designated space to keep your skis.

The check-in process was a little too complicated - you have to check in at another resort location, which is around 20 min drive from Alpenrock (one way). We found that to be an extra and uneccessary step. Also, you get charged with a 350€ security deposit which only gets returned to you in 2-3 weeks after checkout. Kitchen could use some extra equipment, such as a chopping board, but you can still cook some basic meals. Beds were not comfortable and we didn’t sleep well. Also the toilet area should be closed off with a door from the living area with the sofa bed, because it’s disturbing for people sleeping there to be waken up in the night when somebody uses the toilet.

Spacious apartament, clean, with private sauna. Very helpful personel. Parking spaces available. Ski tracks 3 minutes away.

The apartament was quite ascetic? What I mean is, that there was only necessary appliances, nothing more. The little fridge as far for 3 bedrooms is not enough. Little refreshment would be nice. Apart from that, everything was in order

High end and modern buildig and facilities. extraordinary view of the mountains from the sunny balcony and many windows. Great with access to table tennis and football table, however it wasn’t very cosy.

Cleaning was insufficient when we arrived. However we received and extra cleaning halfway after our family became sick. The later was very appreciated. kitchenware needs a review, especially the glass was an odd mix of leftovers.

good location, walking distance to ski rental and lifts. Our 2BR apt was spacious over 2 floors and had a lot of outdoor space (balconies and a huge terrace). We would stay again.

our apartment was well presented but lacked some basics such as hand soaps in bathrooms or hair dryer. each apartment has different owner so the equipment may differ. Our apt 3.3 had private sauna which was great addition to our stay, although more instructions would be beneficial (took us a while to figure out the operation and smoke alarm went off during use).

Pleasant

Appartment is super basic, its fine if you're coming for a ski weekend with your friends but I was there with my daughter and it seemed little too basic. Good parking lot, super close to ski lift, staff is friendly. Apartment was clean.

It was exactly what we expected. Apartment was modern and spacious, perfectly working for family of 4. Nice location. I loved the modern design!

This accommodations is quite superb, just some small details were little annoying. There is huge sauna which was still on, although there were mostly no people (it was hot summer time), what was not definitely ecologic. Some form of timer would be more environment-friendly. There were also missing cups for drinks in sauna room, although there were tea bags available. Garbage cans outside the apartments were too full and not sufficient.

very nice accommodation in wonderful surroundings!

Excellent location above Schladming in small neighborhood Rohrmoos, within walking distance from the cabin lift to Hochwurzen. Apartment 6.8 with rooftop terrace was amazing! Close to tourist bus stop which makes it easy to get around. Summer card included in the price is very useful for discount and free rides with cabin lifts in the area. Easy arrival after reception hours, the apartment keys were left in a box for us to pick up

Apartment is nice and spacey but only one toilet/one bathroom is a bit too little for a big family. Communication with reception was difficult, we were told they would be available in the morning from 7:30 to give us the summer card but they came only after 9 (after we called repeatedly!) so we had to change our plans for that day. emergency number for reception only works until 9pm!

No one is available in the same building from the reception we have to get the summer card we didn’t we try to contact them in the same number mentioned in the reception door with no response only the first day they answered and told us where to find the apartment key.

Alps at it's best!

We had apartment 6.1. It is specious apartment, bedrooms are well located to have privacy if needed. 2 separate bathrooms allow 2 families to easily get by. There are big terraces on the both sides of apartment, so possible to catch sun or shade, whichever you prefer, all day. There is sauna in the apartment, would be especially handy for skiing holidays. Also a washing machine, coffee maker, underground parking and other good amenities.

It was a bit difficult to reach the staff outside office hours, so I suggest to stick to indicated office hours for the most convenient comms.
