The front door opens from the road into the hallway with space for coats and boots as well as a general storage cupboard. Through to the living room, a light and airy space, beautifully furnished, very much with comfort in mind. With white-washed walls, oak flooring and exposed beams to set the ambience. The lounge area is centred around the large inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove, two sofas and an armchair as well as a window seat. There's a TV with DVD player, with included premium TV channels (BT TV). The dining area has a prettily painted dining table and chairs.
A doorway and hatch lead through to the kitchen which overlooks the back garden. The slate-floored, shaker-style kitchen is well stocked for mealtimes, and also houses an integrated washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven and halogen hob, and microwave. From the kitchen, a stable door leads to the patio garden and the parking.
A traditional curved stairway leads up to the first floor from the lounge. The master bedroom maintains the cute cottagey feel and is furnished with a painted oak kingsize bed with side tables, plenty of storage space and a built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a single bed and a single futon.
The modern bathroom has a bath with an electric shower over, and a heated towel rail.
