Alta Mar

The property is lovely, very spacious, gorgeous views and perfect location. We loved the table football too, made a nice little bit of fun playing a quick match before nipping out anywhere. Good facilities - has everything you need. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of loungers / seating areas. The staff were lovely - we had a question on arrival about the gate and they answered the phone quickly, were very friendly and helpful and willing to stay on the phone and wait as long as we needed them.

The villa is a little outdated furniture wise in some places. This is nothing major but does let the property down a little. For example in the bedroom we slept in, one of the bedside drawers was almost falling off. The cover of the aircon was really dusty. The bin lid was broke. The curtains use a rope - pull system which firstly makes them look a little old, but also makes them quite stiff and difficult to open and close. What should be a simple task ended up being something you gave up on half way. The showers look very outdated too. We had a pool maintenance person come and sort something for the pool on the second morning. This would be fine, but we hadn’t been informed of this and was actually told we’d be uninterrupted - so you can imagine our surprise when we suddenly saw a gate was open and a person was walking around the pool / seating area. He was friendly and explained what he was doing nicely, no problems caused but would have been nice to have been informed - the villa is great for privacy sunbathing and having someone walk around unknowingly could have been awkward!
