Villa Dolce Vita by Escape Home

Lovely villa in great location - a short walk to beach, bars, and restaurants. bedrooms all comfortable and pool was warm. Views from the top patio are great.

Photos on Booking are out of date. The villa is older than the 'new villa' photos suggest [although it is still in good condition]. There is one sun umbrella on the top patio, not the fully shaded sofa and dining table which we expected from the photos, but we worked around this.

Huge villa in a great location. The panoramic sea views were stunning. The rooms were big and the balcony was excellent. Loication was great for walking into Son Bou.

The swimming pool had algae around the edge. Whenever we swam, our costumes and pool inflatables turned green. The agent said it wasn’t algae, but it was! They sent the pool technician who improved the situation by deep cleaning the pool and getting the filters to work again, but 24 hours later everything was turning green again when we swam. There are also two internal CCTV cameras in the villa built into motion detectors – one in the dining area and one outside the bedroom doors. They aren’t shown in the Booking.com website photos. If privacy concerns you, that may be a problem.
