not really „didn’t like“, just be aware: the last alley up to your apartments is very narrow. i recommend a small car for peace of mind.

We liked everything about this place. If one needs to find paradise, one needs to stay at Porto Timoni. The view is amazing, the property has everything you need and the staff is polite, nice and kind. You also need to try the restaurant, we tried all restaurants in the area and Porto Timoni is by far the best.

The staff’s hospitality, the views from the room and all common spaces, the various services (restaurant, cafe with small dishes, gyros snack bar.. free parking

We were a couple and got 2 single beds. To be fair, can’t remember if specifically requested a double bed or not, and also I didn’t ask the staff on site to replace it. We were just happy. Lots of bees around, but that is standard for ALL restaurants in the island.

Excellent location, spectacular view, especially the sunsets. Good and hearty breakfast #with a view, also very good à la carte restaurant (try Feta in crust), but above all, a warm, friendly and professional family team, which made our vacation very pleasant. We recommend!

One of the best hotel experiences I had

It was an incredible experience. Everyone is so nice and we felt welcomed from the first day on. The apartments are nice and very clean, the view is amazing and the breakfast is so good. A big plus: The restaurant is one of the best ones on the whole island, right in front of your room!!! But the best thing about this Hotel: The people who are working there. You can feel that it is a family business, everybody is involved and takes great care. Me and my girlfriend felt very special! If you are on Korfu and have the chance to stay here, do it :)

Definitely a gem on the island!

This place is magic! We loved every minute here. First of all the staff and the owners are SUPER friendly, chatty and helped out with everything we needed. We even got a super early bird breakfast the night before we left in our room fridge. The views as breathtaking, the location really nice. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the beds comfortable. We also loved the spacious balcony with the view over the bay. The road to the hotel is quite narrow, so we recommend booking a small type rental. Afionas as a village is great with a lot of nice restaurants and a few cute shops. The only thing that’s missing, is a pool for refreshing on hot days, as you will always have to drive to the beach. But the owner is planning on building one in a couple of years. We will definitely come back!!

Perfect for a wonderful escape in this marvelous island

The ocean view from the room is breathtaking The location is very nice for nature escapes , far from the busy areas but still a lot of things to do and not so far from all the island. The staff was amazing, helpful, kindness , great advices , and always available with a smile.

The bathroom door (glass) but it’s a detail . Nothing really matter when you are in a so calm and beautiful place like Porto Timoni.

Stuff, the location and the view was very nice

They could work on breakfast, the same every day and not many choices. Also you can park at the parking hotel only if you have a small car. Otherwise, you can hardly find a place down on the street after 11 pm.

Lovely stay that met our expectations except for the walking disctance to the beach.

Spectacular view from the room, super helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, cleaning of the room was over the top, a good restaurant with tasty meals. Other stores around the corner, several viewpoints nearby.

If you rent a car be aware that it is a Very narrow road to and from the hotel if you want to park next to it. If you dont rent transportation, be prepared for a 20-30min walk to the beach. The trail to Porto Timoni beach is quite exhausting with rocks and narrow paths. Good footwear is a plus.

Nice service during the breakfast, all wat we liked was delivered. Every morning there was a nice presentation of all the fresh prepared food. The food was very tasty and has a high quality.

Superb

We had a blast during our stay at Porto Timoni - the location and view are amazing, breakfast was delicious with lots of choices for various tastes and additionally the most beautiful view from the restaurant area. Most importantly, the atmosphere and owners were extremely nice, we always felt warmly welcomed and offered a helping hand in experiencing the island. The room was good, cleaned daily and had everything we needed during our stay, good price/performance ratio. Definitely recommended!

Perfect stay with a lovely and beautiful view.

Exceptional overall service. Everybody at Porto Timino was over the top helpful and friendly. They gave us all we need to go around the area and tips for daily trips. It‘s a lovely family business and family and all other‘s there helping together making this a place to be, to relax, to enjoy the view. The kitchen is outstanding. The breakfast ist big and is served to the table. Less options but delicious and perfect in our opinion. The area itself is beautiful. The view amazing. The well known double beach should be checked out early in the morning. People rush in quickly after 9am fully occupying it. Finding the hotel can be bit tricky as the main road leads to the big parking space. Turn left straight before the gift shop ;)

The crowds who miss the signs which lead the path to the beach are mostly annoyingly asking for the way down. But that‘s nothing that can be changed, though.

The best stay in Corfu

It was an amazing stay at Porto timoni! Firstly, the rooms: they are big, bright and all have the most stunning sea view. The room size is good, the room is equipped with everything you need: fridge, air conditioning, safe, hairdryer, a mini kitchen with : kettle, cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, coffee machine. We even had an anti mosquito device (which we did not use cause it was not needed). The rooms have a big balcony with sun beds, table and chairs overseeing the lovely bay. The bathroom is big and you have small toiletries (soap and showergel) which also get replaced during the stay. The cleaning: every day cleaning, taking the trash, new towels, bedsheets etc - cleaning service exceptional! In addition to the room, the whole property is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The breakfast - very good! Fresh good quality ingredients every day, so tasty! It is exactly as in the pictures : coffe/tea, orange juice, eggs, salad, Greek yogurt with fruit, croissants, butter and home made jam. The restaurant - in addition to the most breathtaking view from Afionas - simply amazing - for us it was also the best food we had in Corfu. We ate there many evenings and each time the food was amazing, at very good prices. The staff and the service - last but not least. One of the best service I've seen! The staff are all so friendly, so welcoming, so kind! You really feel welcome and they do everything for your comfort. They also have car rental at very good price - best to check with them before looking anywhere else. Did I mention the stunning view from the room and the restaurant? All in all, I can't imagine a better place than Porto Timoni!

We loved everything!! A little warning because I saw many tourists not so well prepared : if you want to go to the small wild beach Porto Timoni, please note that the climb is quite steep and not so easy (but totally worth it) - make sure you have good shoes - not flip-flops :)

Amazing view, lovely people.

We fell in love with this place. The view is just something else… Probably one of the best you can find on this island. Besides the view the other best part of our stay was the staff. The apartments are run by a family, truly awsome people, real greek hospitality. They run a restaurant aswell which is also really good. We feel truly lucky we had the chance to stay here for a few days, highly recommend this place!

Great place to chill

Fantastic location for a quiet stay, with wonderful panorama of the beach and bay. Because of the location via a narrow access road at the very end of Afionas, it is an oasis of tranquility. We had one of the smaller rooms facing due East over the beach and the head of the bay with a side view south and out to sea. The breakfast was a treat, served at tables overlooking the bay. Eggs, as requested (including perfect boiled option), bread, meats, cheese, salad, Yoghurt with fruit and honey, muffins/crepes. The restaurant was also excellent for evening meals. The family were superb hosts, making for a relaxing stay.

Whilst perfectly adequate, the room was not large, with no space for extra chairs or seating. Some fittings were a little tired. Having seen some of the larger rooms, these have been renovated much more recently and are to a very good standard. Positioned at the top of the village, the water pressure is only just adequate. You need to be aware that the access road is only a few inches wider than a standard car and that you are happy to reverse if meeting a vehicle in the opposite direction.

Do yourself a favor and book this b&b for your holiday in Corfu! Its still run by the family (land was the grandpas, mom is in the kitchen, dad at the reception, kids waiting tables) with gorgeous seaview, amazing breakkie (I mean amazing!!), great prices, minutes away from hiking the most beutiful spot on the island, Porto Timoni and they have been the kindest souls to us on the island! They even fixed my sunglasses:) Thank you for the great experience Spiros, and the family!

Great family hotel at fantastic locatie

The location is fantastic with wonderful views, the rooms are really good and the food is delicious. The staff in this family hotel is very friendly and really doing anything possible to make you feel at home and have you enjoy a perfect holiday. Several suggestions for great sightseeing were provided. All communication easily possible in English. Recommendation to rent a car via the hotel, as the service is great (free transfer from/to the airport, even late night/early morning) and the costs considerably lower than renting at the airport.

Perfektes Hotel mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Hier stimmt alles gekrönt mit Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang und atemberaubendem Blick über die gesamte Bucht Agios Georgius. Freundliche Besitzer , gut ausgestattete Zimmer, bequeme Betten, Balkon mit Liegen, leckeres Frühstück und sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant. Parkplatz am Haus, zu erreichen über teils sehr enge Strasse ( Fussweg zu Porto Timoni Stränden), direkt hinter der Kirche links!!

Spędziliśmy w Porto Timoni wspaniały tydzień.

Hotel położony na wzgórzu skąd rozciąga się piękny widok na Zatokę, z dala od zgiełku. Pokój spełnił nasze oczekiwania, był nieduży, z aneksem kuchennym i prywatną łazienką. Dużym atutem był balkon, z którego mogliśmy podziwiać piękne widoki. Pokój czysty sprzątany codziennie, zmieniane również ręczniki. Piękna okolica, cisza i spokój.

Si vous cherchez un petit coin de paradis au calme avec une vue de rêve et accueilli avec une extrême gentillesse, c est au Porto Timoni qu il faut réserver ! Nous avons louer une voiture directement à l hôtel à un tarif raisonnable, nous avons parcouru l île tous les jours et étions heureux de retrouver ce havre de paix en fin de journée. Prévoyez les baskets pour descendre à la plage, le coucher de soleil y est est fabuleux! Nous reviendrons, c est certain !! Et merci encore à toute l équipe pour votre accueil.
