    Great location (walking distance to nearby konbini, restaurants and cafes - a famous tea stall only minutes away!). The room is quite spacious and eco cleaning is done everyday (fresh towels, emptying out trash bin) with a full one on the third day. I stayed here for 3 weeks and will definitely come back again in my next visit to Kyoto.

    It seems like the hotel staff are having a fatigue of tourists, they don't seem as friendly as other hotels I've stayed in Japan. They don't greet you when you are back and stare blankly, but very quick to tell you the rules to abide to e.g. don't wear your room slippers for breakfast. They only make your room after 3 days. It has nice facilities with good public bath, breakfast is not bad.
