Francesco was a fabulous host and owner. He could not do enough for you. He gave us a map, and pointed items out, and showed us around the whole house. Suggested places to eat, including Gelato, visit and explore. One night is definitely not enough in this beautiful ancestral 1825 home. Breakfast beautiful and mostly homemade. Everything beautifully present. A proud owner of his heritage.
Parking in nearby car park was not a problem, but Agrigento is hilly, so walk to hotel via steps and road maybe an issue for some but we managed ok.

It would be hard to overstate the quality of Francesco's dedicated two floors — esthetically and otherwise. Outside, the piazza and drab entrance give little idea of the jewel inside: utter beauty and real comfort.

Breakfast was served from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. We showed up at 9 a.m. and looking at a couple of empty serving plates, we were told about the egg dish and large plate of meat and cheese that were no longer, because we were the last ones. Not acceptable.
