    I booked this guesthouse when traveling from Dubai to Sri Lanka. Upon check-in, I found the experience to be extremely poor. First, when I made the reservation, the room I selected was clearly marked as having air conditioning in the “room facilities description,” but upon check-in, the host informed me that I had booked a “fan room.” What the hell? In a country like Sri Lanka with such high temperatures, you're telling me the room doesn't have air conditioning? And the room costs 20 USD per night! Second, the room didn’t have a water heater, so I couldn’t take a hot shower. When I asked the host how to shower, he told me to use the “larger room” next door. Goodness gracious, even showering is divided into small and large rooms! Can you imagine me running back and forth between the two rooms naked every night? Third, the common area outside the room has shared facilities like a microwave and washing machine. They said it was free to use when I checked in, but after I spent ten minutes washing my jacket, the landlord and his wife came knocking on the door, saying, “You've been washing clothes for too long, it's using too much electricity, you can't wash anymore.” Have you ever seen such a stingy landlord? If you're worried about electricity costs, why not just not provide a washing machine in the first place! There are other details I won’t go into, but in short, absolutely do not book this guesthouse!

    Convenient location from the airport. Spacious room with comfortable air conditioning. Friendly host family. He prepared me tea and breakfast and drove me to the bus terminal. Reasonable price. Highly recommended!

    I stayed here for five days, and it was very warm; they treated me like family. On the day I just arrived, I had a fever. I went to get their medicine, and they took good care of me, giving me the medicine, ginger, and lemon. Knowing I was sick, they made fried rice for me. On the second floor, there is a communal kitchen available for boiling water and brewing tea, as well as a refrigerator for freezing fruits. If you want to have breakfast, you can tell them. I enjoy the large balcony outside, where I watched the beautiful sunset. Wattle Inn is a very welcoming home where I feel relaxed. On the last day, as I was about to leave, they drove me to the airport. It was already half past ten at night, thank you! I had an unforgettable time here, see you next time.
