It was clean and airy and the owner and his staff were very attentive with queries that we had were answered and dealt with promptly.

Accommodation in the city center. We stayed on the top floor with a terrace. The apartment was spacious with a small fridge. Free parking is available about 10 minutes from the accommodation behind the city walls. The host was pleasant and gave us restaurant recommendations and arranged a tasting at the Primitivo wine museum. The breakfast was rich and delicious.
The city has a nice old town and a museum of primitiva wine. Otherwise, it doesn't have much else to offer. At most, it's enough to spend two nights.
