New apartment in Murano the amazing glass island

The only place we stayed that didn't have a confusing missing item or weird design feature. The TV did not have amy streaming services, but good Italian channels. The living room was large and bright, and everything worked. It even has a dryer, which is unusual in Europe. The property manager wasn't very communicative, as I asked three times if a late checkout was possible, and they didn't respond. They do have a standard message that explains their late checkout is a hallway cupboard you can use, so we did take advantage of that. The location was perfect for us. Almost the center of Murano, which is quieter a lot of the time than the middle of Venice. But also easy access to the waterbus stop back to the center (plus the Alilaguna stop to the airport). There is a grocery store super close, and the gelateria around the corner in the other direction was excellent. We also visited Burano and Torcello before the rush, which we really enjoyed. Despite the property manager's lack of communication, we would stay here again if we return.

Great location and Valentina was very helpful and responsive

Venice was our last stop on our 2 week tour of Italy. The property location was perfect - especially for getting to the airport early Saturday morning. We made several purchases from the shops along the canal. The property was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for a pleasurable stay.

L’appartement de Valantina est idéalement situé au centre de Murano, au deuxième étage d’une petite copropriété très calme. Il est à seulement quelques pas du principal supermarché de Murano, très bien achalandé, ouvert 7 jours sur 7. Juste à côté d’un arrêt de vaporetti. Un bateau qui passe toutes les 10mn dessert tous les quartiers de Venise (1er arrêt à 10mn). Une ligne directe mène à la gare ferroviaire en 30mn (passe toutes les 30mn). Depuis Murano d’autres bateaux partent pour les iles ( Burano… etc.). L’appartement est vaste, agréable, très très calme, très propre et globalement assez bien équipé. La décoration est sympathique, l’ameublement de qualité. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. La literie est excellente . Il dispose d’une belle salle de bain. On s’y sent très vite chez soi. ( Nous y sommes restés 12 nuits). L’ile de Murano retrouve sa sérénité et son ambiance village vers 18h. La vie y est beaucoup moins chère qu’à Venise. L’abonnement vaporetto est donc très vite amorti. Et les trajets sur la lagune sont un véritable enchantement. Beaucoup de bons restaurants ouvrent à midi et quelques uns le soir. ( L’Osteria al Duomo est , pour nous, le meilleur). Murano et l’appartement de Valentina permettent de profiter de toutes les qualités de Venise sans aucun de ses inconvénients.
