About this cabin rental
MAX CABIN - The largest of three private cabins located on farm/ranch land and only 3 1/2 miles from Round Top Square. Surrounded by pastures and grazing longhorns, deer, rabbits and beautiful birds. Hummingbird season starts in August through Oct. Max cabin offers three bedrooms, two full baths, oversize sleeper chair9makes into twin bed, full kitchen, fridge with ice maker, oven, dishwasher and full size washer & dryer, iron and ironing board. Two nice size covered decks, one with private outdoor shower for those warm nights showering under the stars is amazing! Guest are provided with cozy bath robes, lush linens and bath towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with two blow dryers. Complementary Wi-Fi and large flat screen TV in living area. All you need is your toothbrush!

Our cabin was ADORABLE. So comfortable, and stocked with just about anything we could need. Beautiful property.We were not able to use the porch or firepit because it rained all day, but that would have been fun!I would highly reccommend Black Dog Cabins!

When we need to get out of town for our pandemic mental health, Round Top is a go to place for us. Well, we needed it this weekend and fortunately, the Max Cabin at Black Dog Cabins was available so we booked it at the last minute. What a lucky and fantastic choice! The location was great -- only 3 miles from Round Top. The decor of the cabin was just gorgeous and there were so many beautiful and interesting things to look at. But the beds. Oh, the beds. These were the most comfortable beds we think we've ever slept in at any sort of rental property -- and we've stayed at a lot of them, around the world. The cabin also was nicely stocked with dishes, thick towels, plenty of paper products and was spotlessly clean. The back porch was a wonderful place to sit in the evening. (I only wish I had been able to try the outdoor shower!) There was a large, wall mounted TV equipped with Roku that made watching a movie after dinner simple. Did I mention the beds?As we pulled out of the drive this morning, we started planning when we could come back. Just to sit. To relax. To just... be.Thank you, Black Dog Cabins. We'll definitely be back.
